I hate censorship. I would call for a ban on censorship, but that's a censorship on its own...

C'mon. I already posted a nude drawing, and it's from life.

Granted, you can't see anything, but even if you could I'd still post it.

The young members are the ones who want to see the nudity i'd wager.

Put a spoiler tag around it and everyone's fine.

Trust me of all people.

lol

I'm going to put it in my game uncensored.
I don't have control over what kid downloads a free game on the internet.

We'll make sure Trymaker gets put to bed before you post your demo.

You certainly have some drawing talent, although your faint linework suggests a lack of confidence. My advice is to keep drawing and practicing (which will make you more confident) and maybe try pressing harder with the pencil. Your style is a perfect fit for the game, especially the last drawing.

I'd like to see more, maybe some full-body poses perhaps.

Oh about the pencil and faint this are all sketches in pencil before the picutres are ever used I ink them. I'm working on full body now : )
My full body one suck comapred to closeups so i'm still working on them.
I never start in pen or pressed hard with the pencil incase I want to change something later.

that's probably wisest, however you'll be pretty pissed when you go to clean and color them and the stupid noise from the eraser and pencil get in the way. hopefully you have a photoshop full version?

Well they won't be colored.
And I will clean up the noise from the pencil and eraser in photoshop yes :)

ah, well. I was under the impression you were going to color them and use them in a game.
you know, just because you color them doesn't mean they'll look flat. assuming you're going for a sort of sketchy look.

I am using them in a game I just can't color.

ooookay :x, I really can't imagine why you couldn't color it then.

Because I suck at coloring.
Even if I didn't suck at coloring i'm trying to Balance "Work at the hospital/Studying for School/Performing every other night." at once plus making this game, drawing scenes for the game is putting me behind on making the game go forward since the the intro alone there is 8 pics, and then 9 more 10 minutes after the intro.

If I could color it would slow the process way too much.

well, I think it might actually work better uncolored.
they have this sort of raw emotive feel to them. I can definitely see the story being told through these pictures.

"performance"? hmm, performance of what might that be?

Really nice. One thing I noticed, though, is that you seem to have more skill drawing faces and hair (in all your pictures these are really well done). While your bodies aren't bad, there could be some improvement. I think your anatomy would improve a lot if you drew your figures naked first (yep...this weirdo advice again), and then draw the clothes on top, bearing in mind that the clothes sit on top of the body and don't make up the body. Right now, the bodies are coming off a little flat, and in your last un-coloured image, the character's trousers don't seem to have any weight to them. If you look at the waist, groin area, and upper thigh, it almost seems as if the trousers are smaller than the character's body should be.

Overall, though, your art is very nice.

Thanks for the adivce I have always been better at closeups face shots than full body.

I usually draw the character body out not naked but simpler and add the clothes as I go along.

I'll try your advice thanks.

To improve your body-drawing skills, there's a program called Poser that you can probably find for free and it lets you put 3D-rendered bodies in various poses. Might give it a whirl if you need something to use as a reference.
