Title: Grades?

For those of us in school I thought we could post how bad we're doing/ overachieving.

Linguistics: C
Geology: C
Geography: C
Small Group Communication: B

I'm an underachiever and go to class as little as possible because I'mm not motivated by subjects that have no relevence to my life or what I plan on doing with my life. I usually make A's in English classes, but for an English major I dont seem to be taking very many of those following the curriculum... Wierd... Otherwise Im a very average student.

Thats not very fair now is it? you get to take all the classes you like and are good at.

I'm Swedish so I do have your grading system.

But I have the top grades in everything except math, physics and chemistry... I think.

Pre-Calculus - A (I'm finding it rediculously easy while everyone else is like "OH GOD WHY THE PAIN")
Music Theory - A (It's a really fun class, but I don't know if this letter will apply for the last quarter; I flubbed up like 2 or 3 assignments. Still, it's worth it, because I learned how to make stuff like This! (http://www.bcsd.org/webpages/mstruzik/files/Micah%20-%20Swords%20of%20Brass.mid))
Video Communications - A
P.E. 11-12 Grades - B+.... Yarr.

The only classes in the past in which I consistently got lower than an A were Spanish and English, back when we were still doing stupid things like poetry and studying long words we'd never use. That, and I never liked reading assingments. In these cases, I got a B. Oh, and I got a B+ in AP US history, but that's just a stupid course anyway.

EDIT: Oh, and I'm half Asian. Like, in real life.

Around here, where I'm studying, we don't use grades, but "I" and "S".

Basically, it's either "Fail" or "Pass" and we got the "P", which stands for A+, I suppose.

At any rate, I'm currently failing everything, and looking for another area to study because I really can't be bothered with this one anymore.

I think my favourite thing is how I'm like top of the class in Game Programming, but I spend all my time making pixel art in Game Maker's sprite editor.

I've done worse. We were required to take a silly typing class in high school, and every class we had to copy page after page of text, then -- once finished -- print out a page that shows our accuracy, speed, and such for a grade. So every class I would take a template I had made of the page, modify it with random (but high) numbers in MS Paint, paste it in Word to adjust the margins, and print it. It didn't look spot-on because of the pixelation, but our teacher was one of those boisterous gym coaches they let teach a class or two, and thus was too stupid to see the difference. He never got wise.

I spent the rest of the time on the glorious internet!

Well, when your school blocks GOOGLE, internet is pretty crap. We pretty much get wikipedia.

How can the school ban google which is a search tool but keep wikipedia which have some doubting articles on most things(beacause of some people who likes to mess around with 'em).
We have sites involving flash games, videos and such banned. But there's nothign we can't get past.

Nope, all those are blocked, elgooG, Blackle, etc. I think it's cause you can look up porn in google images... or something.

You could use a different browser unless the blocking is a firewall.

You know in Cuba, if you type "fuck" into Word, it automatically closes and gives you a national security warning?

It's a firewall AFAIK. It blocks out all other browsers.

And since my last final for this quarter isn't until June 12th, it's still some time until I know my grades for:
Foundations of Software Engineering III
Japanese III
Fundamentals of Physics II
How Things Work
First-year Seminar cont'd (actually I already got an A in this, but the credit value is 0.5 so it's virtually meaningless)

So yeah... any natural science sucks... and How Things Work ended up being just that. So this is most likely going to be my worst quarter, but I don't care I just want this year  to be over. Stupid physics being interesting yet ransacking my GPA... would've had a 4.0... grumble grumble...

Im in college too guys, but I still have to take crap I don't need. I meant shes an artsy person and get to take art classes. Im an english guy and I get to take science which I suck at.

I have no idea how I'm doing. Had my English Language and PE exams this week and they seemed
fairly easy. I'm working at distinction level in Computing and Biology is still to come! OH MY GOD!
