Title: OMG! The light has returned! No idea actually.
Post by: elementalhero76 on May 30, 2009, 11:44:18 PM
I came back but only to start a new project that has been in the works for a couple of years now. It won't be rpgmaker2k/2k3/XP/or VX. Rather it will be a C/C#/C+/C++ game.

I'll be starting from scratch and be on from time to time. I already have the stat system and other battle systems in place data wise. If you have played Ragnarok Online you'll find the parameter system just like it or very similar to it.

I want to find ways to program in rpgmaker2003 features like using face sets and transition tile sets in an engine I would have to use or make on my own. I also like the animation set up (battle animations, system 2, side view battling) in rpgmaker 2003. I can't use the makers anymore because my game is way too customized (10 parameters and 6 major stats).

Hope to be on often and eh76 is not the way he was years back, you'll see no nonsense from me, unless you're asking for it.

So you want someone to help you set up the C language so that it works like RPG Maker 2003?

While I'm at it, would you like an aligator wearing a tutu speaking chinese, since you're asking their near impossible and all.

You're better off just starting simple and building it up. You have to run before you walk. If you try to run without knowing to walk, you'll bust your ****ing head open and bleed to death

Don't expect helpful advice from charas members in your welcome back post. There that's some very helpful advice.

Yeah was a reference to one of my future game skills.

Though if I was in the next charas games I could give a list of possible moves/attacks.

So, you want a program made in C that works like RPG Maker, but is customized to your needs? Possibly allowing C scripts? Hmm, I wish Enterbrain did something like this instead of ****ing Ruby.

Welcome back.
