Title: Between Heaven & Hell
Post by: Cyanide Angel on June 10, 2009, 03:58:36 AM
I used to toy around with the RPG maker programs until last month when I decided to make my first complete game. I made this on RPG Maker 2003 and I used resources from this site so alot of things will look familar. Its not the best game in the whole world. I wanted to create like a SNES styled RPG game that included elements from Final Fantasy Mystic Quest and Fallout so expect a pretty simple and easy game. I give credit to the bands and artists I used for this game and I give tons of credit to this site and the resources that are given out for people like me to use. I used a few custom songs for this game and the soundtrack does have a 80s/early 90s feel to it so if you don't like that kind of music then yeah.

The game is about a kid named Kamren who lives in the middle of a city and a world filled with violence and corruption. One day it seems like a normal day in the life of Kamren when he drops his sister off at school and meets up with his best friend Janus who lets Kamren in on a dirty job he found. Later Kamren and Janus meet up with a vicious gangster named Estevan, who offers them the mission but once Kamren and Janus are out of sight. Estevan makes a move on Kamren's sister and kidnaps her out of a secret stalkerish love Estevan has for Rouge that turns into a hostile hatred for her later in the game. Kamren and Janus seek out on a mission traveling between cities and small towns gaining information about Estevan's whereabouts since hes associated with a city gang called the Cobras so random people might reconize that name. You will have to make choices and do missions for money, some of the main people you can either piss off or make happy if you want or even kill them if you feel like it. But yeah this is my first game I ever completed and Im hoping on moving on up into RPG Maker XP or VX soon this summer in my freetime. Enjoy.
