Post by: Fisherson on June 13, 2009, 11:45:41 PM: I liked Pokemon hunter, but not for killing pokemon, but because it had a good storyline that got better and better with each new game. I hope your game will have some story as well as pokemon killing.

Story

You are a guy/gal who joins the League of PokéAssassins. These are people that go around and kill pokémon everywhere. Your job is to collect all the Gym Leader Badges and bring them to the PokéAssassins which then form the Superbadge. This unleashes a power which enables you to control pokémon and do what you want to them.

More info

You start in a small coastal village named "Applegable Town" where your rival thinks that you will catch some pokémon. They go away and you must defeat all pokémon that you see.

Differences from ordinary Pokémon games

There are no HM's.
The Pokémon Technical Institute allows you to extract moves out of some pokémon.
You can become invisible (well, turning into a Mew, but this avoids detection from certain pokémon and trainers)
One of the cities has 4 pokémon gyms!
Team Magma and Aqua sprites are used in this game but are known as "Team Fire" and "Team Water". Team Fire are the 'bad' team, and Team Water are on your side. (Team Fire love pokémon. Team Water + You do not).
The rival is very important in this game.
Your badges get stored at The Badge Collection Cave. (See screenshot on first post)
Town Map is easier to access. (Press the 9 Key)
You can use a gun (in selected parts of the game only) (Press the 0 Key)

Post by: loftyD on June 23, 2009, 10:39:41 PM: It's not excessive, there is a story, but depending on the weapon you use, alters how much gore there will be. Swords = Blood. Fists = Blood, but Gun = No Blood :D .

"PokeMon Assassins" just sounds uninspired and an excuse to make a game purely about killing PokeMon.
"Bringing all of the Gym badges to form the Superbadge"...I don't even think I need to write down why that is bad and uninspired
And the whole plot is basically a mishmash of...blah...

You'll find guns draw a LOT more blood than a punch, buddy.

Yeah of course, what I was meant to say is that the Blood in Battle Animation for Guns is not implemented yet.

Or team galactic with lasers. Hell they performed surgery on the legendaries to remove their gems and all.

I could understand if they were maybe, poachers or something, but from what you've said they pretty much just shoot pokemon for the hell of it.

Motive bro. People in real life don't run around killing Animals for fun in "secret assasin groups", they do it for the fur and ivory and such. This guy's group of characters seem to have no motive whatsoever.

haha. But they would rather create shitty poems on how to get Pikachu... :D I'll be posting more screens soon. College nearly finishes for me, so I'll be able to do a bit more work!
