I was poking around, and I noticed that our forum doesn't have a game recomendation thread.
Which I find odd, seeing as we revolve around game making.
So I made one.
If you want to put one in, add a brief description, supply a link, and give it a rating.
And also, please don't put commercial games, like Halo, L4D, and Fallout, or any game that is fairly well known, like Fraxy or Cave Story (I think I remembered the name...). If you think a commercial game is fairly unknown, like say, Okage: Shadow King, then go ahead and put it in if you give it a fairly high rating.
Here's my contribution:
Seven Minutes (http://www.yoyogames.com/games/show/26339), one of the oddest and awesome games I've ever played.
Before I delve into it more, I'm sorry Fish, but I recommend you don't play this because there is a lot of flashes.
Anyways, it's a hard game to describe. It's basically a platforming puzzle game where you only have seven minutes to live, because you disobeyed this ***hole god creature. Apparently you wanted to know how the world is going to end, so he starts ending it.
It's actually a fairly creepy game. Mainly due to the god head thing, and the music.
My rating: 4/5
I'd play it until I figure out how to beat it, and then there's not much replay value after that.

I think it was called Yume NIkki or something. I think it translated to "The dream diary". It was creepy as ****.

Seiklus
(http://www.yoyogames.com/extras/image/name/san1/132/5132/large/yoyo_seik04.png?1179877321)
Seiklus is an open world adventure platformer, with simple, pleasing visuals, and amazing music.
IMO, the best gamemaker game ever made.
That being said, download it here. (http://www.yoyogames.com/games/launch/2118)
No seriously. Do it. Now.
Cube 2 (Sauerbraten)
At first glance, Sauerbraten is "just another indie FPS." It doesn't look special...
But here's where you're wrong. What other indie FPS features an edit mode, that allows you to dynamically create and edit maps in real time, in-game, cooperatively online? Yeah, none. That's what I thought.
Sauerbraten's engine is extremely easy to use, and it also sports some pretty impressive eye-candy, such as dynamic lighting, and water/glass reflection and refraction.
Oh, and also, there are guns. And you can shoot things/people.
See? There's something for everybody. So go pick up the latest version here (http://sourceforge.net/projects/sauerbraten/files/sauerbraten/sauerbraten_2009_05_04_trooper_edition_win32_setup.exe/download) for free. You won't regret it.

I remember one, but it kinda died quickly, if memory serves correct.

THFG, It had the most in dept ABS system I've seen, besides Sabin NOT being animated, It well made up for it.
Then there's Balmung Cycle.
which features eye pleasing graphics and mapping.
Then there's Death Proclaimed.
which is basically Silent hill2k3. Featuring an minor ABS combat and alot of creepy elements.

I've downloaded Balmung cycle before, but I just could never bring myself to play it. Not sure why...
That In-Depth ABS game seems really interesting though.

RPGrevolution Hosts THFG, and Death Proclaimed.
I forget where to get Balmung Cycle.
