Title: Wireless keyboard
Post by: Tina Branford on July 25, 2009, 10:05:14 PM
Well, I just got a wireless keyboard today. However, I noticed that, when I try to boot up an RPG Maker game, it stops responding. I can't press enter at the title screen or move the arrows around.

I am able to get into the game by using alt and enter, but once in the game, the character is unresponsive, and only moves left and down after fiddling with the arrows for a while.

Does anyone else have this problem? And is there a way to fix it, short of getting another keyboard?

I had that problem for a bit yeah. I'm not ENTIRELY sure how to fix it, it could be that your keyboard isn't connected properly or that some setting or another is messed up. Mine was off and on and EVENTUALLY went away though. Also, try opening the game up with no other programs open if you haven't already, that seemed to be my problem for a little bit.

I got it working. Turns out I needed to install some drivers from the Microsoft main site. I was panicking for a bit there, but it looks to be all good now.

Restart your computer
Often the solution to a lot of things. Unless you're too lazy to restart the computer.
