Title: Problem with rm2k3 on Vista

Okay, I'm not too familiar with vista, but I'm gonna blame this problem on vista. Alright, everytime I try to place a map piece, when I release my finger from the mouse, it'll shoot up into the upper left of the screen, leaving a trail of that map piece in its path, destroying others in its way. It's really quite irritating and makes map making impossible. This also happens when making battle animations.

Anyone else have similar problems like this? I figure it's probably some setting on vista, butI don't know where to start looking. I've also tried reinstalling rm2k3 several times.

EDIT: My bad about the pics size, still getting used to higher res monitor.

This wasn't exactly deserving of a (READ THIS) though, was it...?

Anyhow, I don't get this problem on vista. I just get the bad font and permanently small test screen :(

Well, kind of, 'cuz it's crippling my rm2k3 experience.  :'(

Maybe I'll try downloading from a different site, though I don't see how that'll change anything.

On my old computer, I found when using microsoft paint, sometimes when I released the mouse, or when I was drawing, it would draw a line right through my drawing. When you are doing pixel art, it's hard to fix. I got a new mouse, and so far no problems. The new mouse works fine with my new computer, too. Try another mouse, hopefully that will work.

Alright, sounds like the only logical next step. Installing a different version of rm2k3 didn't work.

Damn, didn't work. I went out and got a crummy mouse from best buy and it still has issues. Does anyone else run rm2k3 on vista? Maybe direct me to a site with answers to this? I'm totally stumped.

i run rm2k3 on vista it working OK for me may you got a bug on your rm2k3 ?

Doubtful, I've reinstalled rm2k3 several times and from different sites.

I have rpgm2k3 on vista and my only problem is that I can't play the game in full screen. Only by pressing F4 may I see the screen at all.
Never heard of this problem before.

I'm guessing 2k3 just has random problems with Vista, cause I have no problems whatsoever.

Yeah, I've been reading around and a lot of people either have problems or they don't. But I haven't found anywhere that someone had a similar problem to mine.
