Sorry if this is the wrong forum, no clue where to put non-Charas based games

This is my first professional title, I've completed about a year of work at Gearbox as an artist now, and I'd appreciate it if any of you HD gamers out there would give the game a look, it's a FPS/RPG hybrid with four player online... very similar to Diablo or Fallout 3.

Let me know what you think and if you really love it go pre-order or email the team we read all the feedback and love to hear it  :Plight:

...you're working at Gearbox?

Well, it you worked at this project, really good job, the new art style looks awesome, and it overall looks fun.
I'm already planning on buying it in October.

I've been looking at this game for a while now. It looks frigging amazing. I want to play
it more than Bioshock 2, M. Warfare 2 or just about any game. I absolutely can't wait to get my
hands on it.

My only concern is: will be too much like Fallout 3? I really love the idea of RPG elements,
but I don't want it to be slow and glitchy like Fallout 3. Will a battle-hardened FPS PC geek like
me and my friends be capable of using our skills in the game? Will you need twitch-reflexes etc
and not just have to purely rely on stats and medkits?

I highly doubt it'll be like Fallout 3.
As he said, it looks more like Diablo in First Person with a **** load of guns.

I just hope it's fast-paced but with well-implemented RPG features.

I actually feel like my face is gonna explode because I want this game so much!

Yeah the shooting controls are definitely more FPS than RPG. I haven't personally played Fallout 3 but from what I've seen in videos about the targeting system I'd say Mass Effect was a bit more of a shooter than Fallout, and Borderlands is even a step above that; there's no "magic bullet" feel like you hardly have to aim at the guy, you need to point and shoot from Level 1 til the end of the game =P

Here's a vid you can check out to see what I mean - glad you guys are liking the idea =) Everyone is REALLY excited about this, and it's my first professional project so it means a lot to me personally as well. We've even had fans (ok yeah fans of a game that isn't out yet I guess!) send in their artwork and one dude even sent in a custom computer case that we all signed. Awesome stuff I think.

A little bit more gameplay footage (short intro is followed by clips that are not dubbed over)

I have been looking forward to this since I saw the trailer, good job working on it. I'll definitely get it.

EDIT:

Any word on a release date for Europe?

In that case, I can't bloody wait!

And 20th October apparently.

Well, I'm skeptical about how much truth is behind you working at Gearbox (no offense to you if you're telling the truth, but I know better than to believe everything I see on the internet), and your low post count makes me a little more suspicious, but I will say that I've been waiting on this game for quite some time now. Should be fun to play, if all the outlandish promises are kept. I want a bare minimum of 50 bajillion guns, as advertised.

87 bazillion, Archem.
Get your facts straight, gawd.

Sorry, I forgot that no quotation marks means that I'm not picking a number out of the air instead of using a direct quote.

Pardon me.

I apologize, I forgot that my sense of humor kinda blows.
As well as my sense of sarcasm.

I'm sorry. It's my fault that any of this even happened.
