Not really a game. It's a really good spriter's sprite movie. However what's based on, Touhou. is a game. Kinda like a shoot em up game, japanese that is.

Touhou is been around for a good while, always loved their sprites. A lot of people today mimic the sprites  and have even made a classification of from it, relatively called Touhou Dot, or Touhou Sprites. There's even a lot this project's character sets for RMXP and RM2k3


Look up Touhou on google.
