Title: Fighting Stick

I recently got into using a fighting stick for playing fighting games at a higher level, and I found out that the Mayflash Universal USB stick I first got was a little of a shitty quality part wise, so I managed to mod it into a respectable piece with high quality parts for better playing.

A little while after playing with this baby I got more interested in modding stuff like these, so I helped a friend replace the Board inside his (the same model as mine) for a PS1 board. After that I felt like "man I have to make a full custom one". So I ordered some parts and went ahead with finding a cute little old lunch-box thingy I had as a kid in the depths of our attic, and used it as a base. And when it was finally done, the time has come to brag about it on the internets.

BEHOLD, my super awesome custom stick!

UPDATE:

It appears it pretty much sucked due to being made of some sort of hard paper only. When tried playing with it for a while it started to feel awkward so I just stuck with my regular one. Then a friend of mine got interested in the very same game, happens to be BlazBlue. And he also wanted a fighting stick, so I took the stick off the Bear-Box, bought some quality buttons and slapped it together with a Mayflash box that I got from a friend. It was also partially painted red with spraypaint to make it stand out a little than the default black only.

Counting the parts costs (Middle quality) and a cheap used ps1 controller, 15€ / 22$

That's some sweet modding there. XD I'm kinda interested in it myself as I've tinkered with a few controllers in the past.

As a fellow fighting game fanatic I have to say

I have a Mayflash too, though unmodded at the moment. I'm going to work on that soon
