Probably today you noticed that Charas has been down for almost the entire day.
I just wanted to explain what happened.
I received an alert from the provider, about "Network Violation - CPU Overutilization".
Last part of it is:
You will have until October 29, 2009 to resolve the issue at hand.
At the end of this time period, we will review your CPU usage. If it has been resolved, we will migrate you back to the original server. If it has not been resolved, you should then consider the need to upgrade to a Dedicated Server. Please note, if the CPU usage is further exceeded on this new server, we reserve the right to suspend the account to ensure the overall health of the server.
Now we are investigating, and the issue will hopefully be solved soon (expecially because a dedicated server would REALLY cost a bit too much).

Alright, we're back...for now.
Sweet.

Well, crap. I don't know what else to say.

Scary stuff.

I'll tell you what, we could delete every All of All archive older than two months.

Nothing like that, as issue was not network related. So forums should be completely fine.
It was about CPU Overutilization, and more likely the cause are external accesses to the generators.
I've already fixed that, now i'm waiting the provider to confirm me if i was right by checking the CPU cycles.

If that's true, it's certainly a relief.
