Title: RPG Maker 2k3 RTP MIDIs sound framiliar...
Post by: schilcote on October 01, 2009, 01:03:26 AM
Do the MIDIs in the 2k3 RTP sound farmiliar to anyone else? Alot of them sound like I've heard them somwhere else before (I've never played an RPG maker game, so that can't be it). Infact, though it dosn't make any sense at all, I swear that one of them is from Portal. Or something in Portal is from it.

I'll listen to them again, I know I've heard some of these before.

That's cause they are very cliche.

Yeah, they are designed to be your run-of-the-mill RPG songs to fit the situation they are wrote for. Nothing more to it really.

Most of them are really annoying, especially when sped up.

Bazaar music, anyone?

All I know is that one of the songs is lifted from Nightmare on Elm Street on the NES.  Rather blatantly, too.
