Okay. So, DO NOT tell me what a noob I am for asking this question. I mean no harm, and if it's painfully obvious, then I apologize with my whole heart.
I cannot get my characters to move to their target monster before executing their normal attacks. I used to be able to do this, but I have since re-acquired the program and started from scratch, and for the life of me cannot figure out how to make this happen again. I have looked tirelessly through the database, and nary an option has appeared to me. Are their some versions of the translation that do not contain this function? I thought it was surely in battle layout, but like I said, I re-acquired it, and quite some time passed before I did so, so I really can't remember.
So, just a nudge in the right direction please?

Go to the Items tab and then go to one of your weapons.
Under the animation, click the "Set" button and another window will open up.
At the top where it says "Movement Before Attack", change it to "Move to Target."

This is what we are here for!
Darn it. I was going to be helpful for once. (the same thing he said is in the spoiler. =/)
Depending on what kind of attack you are using.
Skills/Spells:
-Go the the Animations Tab
-Click the "Animation" Button
-Go to the drop-down box that says "Movement"
-Select "Move to Target"
For attacks that use a weapon, do the same steps only going to the item tab.
Have fun. :)
