Title: Frying pan battleweapon
Post by: Igavustunne on December 01, 2009, 04:50:36 PM
One of the characters in my game is a chef. Her weapon is a frying pan, but all through the complete resources, there were no frying pans. Would anyone be interested in making a frying pan battleweapon for me? :D Any help will be credited and appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Thank you very much, this is very useful! Kudos!

@MissingName I'm trying to do something out of the ordinary and instead of a healing character be the cliched priest or cleric or whatever. Instead, they'll be a chef, and that is the real reason for a frying pan.

O.o Wow! Look at the detail on that thing. Val could single handly bring weapons back into the circle of coolness if she choose. Aslo, Igy, I think you're efforts are admirable. Haven't seen a chef in a RPG since Tales of...World? Or was is Destiny...? Hmm...Well in wny case, good luck with that.

I love the tales series, and the inspiration really came from a mix between the Wonder Chef and the Tales cooking system. I plan to run a similar approach to that, but make it differ to fit my game. The first healer is a chef, and all of her moves except for one are healing, mp healing, buffing, status effect removing, etc. Those moves will not cost MP, but if I can make it work properly with RPGMaker 2003, they will cost ingredient items that you get from stores. So yeah, I kinda ripped it off from the Tales cooking ideals, but then again, only one person is allowed to cook.

So yeah, thanks.
