Hey peoplez, wazzap? I'm Ty and I just installed RPG Maker 2003. I've finally finished stuffin' the database full of... erm, data...
and I'm now makin' levels. Well I kinda ran into a couple issues. Though I'm not the brightest bulb on the christmas tree (Haha... Christmas humor.) I just can't seem to find any way around these issues and the RPG Palace tutorials aren't helpin'.

ISSUES (Cue damatic music)

*I have a massive roster of characters, how do I start my game with only one or two of my characters rather than four?

*I can only seem to have a maximum party of four. Though only four characters can fight, is there any way I can have more than four characters in my party?

*How do I create combos for my heroes?

Any help would be appreciated.

question 1:
In the database - go to "System" and there's a thingy on the left called "Starting party" I think the name kinda speaks for itself.

question 2:
You can only have 4 characters in your party. BUT - the game saves everything you do with the characters that leave the party.
Say you have the party of Ned, Bob, Nicholas, Annie and Charmander.
Now. You decide that Bob is a loser and should be swapped for charmader in the story.
 Say... Bob finds out that he's going to be a father and starts to work for a farm?
So when that happens in the story - you add an event that "Removes :Bob from party" The interesting part is that Bob there will have all his info stored. Lvl, stats, skills ect.
So when Bobs son is killed in a horrible car accidents 5 play hours later - you simply have to add an event that "Add : Bob to party" and he will be as he left.
I'm pretty sure you can find an explanation or tutorial on how to make a hero swapping thingy. I remember seeing one like this week or so.

Question 3:
What kind of comboes are you talking about?

By combos I mean when the hero racks up multiple blows with multiple hit animations on a foe. I've seen it before, I just don't know how to do it.
