Title: Hello, I'm new here.
Post by: Avnas on January 05, 2010, 07:56:02 AM: Hello everybody, as you can tell I'm new to this forum, though I've browsed the site for a bit before. (I always have a hard time making these threads, I have no idea what to put in them...)
I've used RPG Maker XP, but I should probably get 2k3 as well, I like the pixellated style of it.

EDIT: Oh, I like the rotating banner at the top of the page. Mega-cool.
DOUBLEEDIT: May I ask where the slogan 'it's like an island' comes from?

It means you'll either be on Charas or doing RPG Maker stuff so often that you'll completely isolate yourself away from your friends and family...... like an island...

As for your question, I think (I repeat, I think) it first appeared on the same banners you saw it on, which were made by Prpl_Mage, so you'd have to ask him.

It sounds pretty good, though.

I've been wondering about this FOREVER. It was banner update time and all of a sudden people were saying that. I'm pretty sure it doesn't have an official meaning or a history or anything. Of course, I ran with it anyway cuz that's how I roll.
