Title: Greetings from an Eternal Dabbler
Post by: Sivartius on February 21, 2010, 05:44:05 AM
Greatings and Salutation, I am styled Sivartius, and I am but newborn to this site. Yey and verily, for I discovered it but two days ago. As thou canst see from the title, I am the Eternal Dabbler, for I have yet to find something that can hold me. Truly I have searched, and have found many great and interesting past times, yet none has caused me to give up my wandering. I flit as doth the butterfly or sparrow, and find no permanent rest. Yet for all that, my heart is filled with joy, and I rejoice with each new discovery. I great you, and look forward eagerly to the experiences we shall share.

(In case you hadn't figured it out yet, I also like overacting.)

Howdy. You'll be a welcome addition to the place as long as you always suspect sarcasm and don't act like a douche.

Strangely this makes me miss Warxe even more. O_o

Hail friend, don't feed the fish the strobing testicles.
He may explode on 'ye.

Thank you all for your gracious welcome.  Yea, and verily, for the light of fellowship shines through your words. I am most honored to be accepted into your company.

Yes, now participate in the active threads. Might not be a bad idea to speak in a more modern dialect, too. I have a feeling that you'll get very annoying very quickly with what you're doing right now.

Because I'm not afraid to be insultingly honest? Or because I'm some sort of lovable, sex-addled tyrant?

A little of column A, a little of column B.

Add a little of column C.
What is it, you ask? It's up to you to find out.

Welcome, young one. May the light be with you.
Because it's hard to find things in the dark.

Because it's hard to find things in the dark.
Is that related to column C?

I'll let you decide.

Hello! Your Shakespeare talk turns me on immensely.

You turning on turns me on.

I kid, I kid... I hate kids...

Oh, girls love sophisticated crap.

And this is probably the first time your inability to actually speak English has been obvious in your typing. "Useful" is pronounced "yoose-full," so there's no need for the "an" before it. "A useful skill."

Oh. I had no idea. I thought it was just for all vowels.
That's how it usually works. Of course, like with most languages, there are grammar exceptions. This is one of them.

Same goes for girls loving sophisticated crap... I'm not sure how it works over there, but over here they only care about the way you look, how rich you are, and what car you drive.
Pretty much the same here. Sure, they all say that they like such-and-such, but pretty much every girl is as shallow as a bathtub.

Oh hey, it's pretty much the same here!
There are girls who pretend they like sophisticated things, but chances are they'll already be taken... by some non-sophisticated-at-all guy. Ah, the ladies...

I'ma let you boys in on a little secret. It's not them, it's you. Well, it's not exactly you. Point is...Men and women alike are attracted to confidence. And we here at Charas are all nerdy introverts. Don't lie. You know you are...I am, too. You may have lots of good qualities in spades, but if you don't have confidence and charisma, you won't have women flocking to you.

And Lucas, I was going to say "We've seen your picture! You're not ugly!" But then I realized you live in Brazil. Since everyone around you is probably a supermodel, I imagine you could look ugly in comparison.

Lol. Yeah, I guess.Thats not so true. Women may like confident men, but guys dont mind dating girls with low self-esteem and stuff. A bunch of guys like that. Its easier to get those girls.

Actually, I'm pretty sure some girls prefer them guy with low self-esteem as well. Because people with low self-esteem tend to be easier to manipulate, guy or girl.
Also, I like how this introduction topic turned out. I say, hello again, sir!
