This has been floating around on my computer for a while...

Synopsis:
Things are on the upswing for Jonathan Danvers. His career is taking off, he’s been befriended by one of the richest families in The Empire, and –most importantly- he's just achieved a perfect score in pub trivia.
When the sudden bombing of a popular theatre shakes the city’s temper, Jonathan becomes the unlikely pawn in a strange political game. No longer sure of who to trust, he ventures forth into strange and exotic lands, hoping to find a way to stop the two most powerful empires from going to war.
Playable Characters

Jonathan Danvers- An overly-civilized young man descended from Cieswick nobles. He lives an unexamined life in the city of Biterdale, where he contents himself in following the same routine nearly every day. A recent rumour suggests that Jonathan is to inherit the estate of William Brightman, famed entrepreneur, and inventor of the modern containment system.

Tristan Moore- A sky pirate with a mind like a mathematician. He’s cheeky, vain, opportunistic, and overly selfish. The complete opposite of Jonathan, the two end up unlikely partners in crime.

Emma St. Clair- The daughter of one of the richest men in The Empire, her family rose from a small middle class existence only a generation before. She remains Jonathan’s closest childhood friend.

Hans Weber- A young boy who is teased incessantly in school for his unusual appearance. He often busies himself with small contraptions that he makes out of old train parts, and tends to avoid other children his age.
Screenshots
I don’t have very many as there are apparently no Steampunk chipsets in existence. This means I’ve had to make my own. Anyway, here are some (currently spriteless) screenshots that use the chipsets I’ve made. All original except the ground tiles.

So anyway, came up with this concept with Freddie/Prpl_Mage. This is meant to be a fun and short game that doesn't take itself too seriously. Full of fun cliché and good old-fashioned mechanical swashbuckling. Will try to have the game done in a few months.
