I'm sure a few you have not seen this yet even tohugh its been around for a bit and I didn't seen anyone else post anything about but even if it's just "Hey this is what we could do if we wanted too ."sadly it looks well better?

I liked the approach of realesque story. but, it's not mortal kombat anymore.

As you know, this is for the movie.

Pretty much every source I've read says that this is just a thing some group did to pitch the idea.
It's not an actual movie yet.

They must've poured some money into this though.

I thought they were robots! D=

All kidding aside, it looked pretty good.  I was pretty terrified at their skill in the special effects for the one guy. O.o

Realesque story is boring and makes it rather clunky. Sounds like a bad martial arts movie. Though, it may be so bad it is hilarious (actually, based on this, it is).

Can't be worse than the DoA movie right?

I really hated this.  Mortal Kombat is not realesque, so a movie about it shouldn't even try to be.  The only character who actually resembled his game counterpart was Johnny Cage, and he got his head unceremoniously detaced from his body by rasta-doctor Baraka.  I half expected Kung Lao to show up as a gangsta with a razor blade hidden in his ballcap.
This actually looks like a worse concept than the Super Mario Bros. movie, IMO.

Can't be worse than the DoA movie right?
Oh, yes.  It can.  It really can.

I know that Subzero frozes things, Scorpion melts them, and they are palette swaps of each other. Thats as far as I go.

From what I know, they now have some differences, like the masks, etc. though they are minor. Before, there was Scorpion, Sub-Zore, Reptile, Hermac, Noob Saibot, Smoke Human and one whose name I forgot who were all simple recolour.

Sub-zero(blue), Scorpion(yellow), Reptile(green), Ermac(red), Noob(black), Rain(purple) and that N64 character that were transparent but same model.
From what I know.

Nowdays (Deception at least) Sub-zero wears some japaneese armour and a helmet.
Scorpion got some stylish and somewhat hellish accessories.
Reptile was actually the last boss in deception... Looked like a dragon.
Ermac looks pretty slick and psychic in a robe.
Noob looks little like the old him(kinda bondage-ish)

Watched the trailer- I think if it were produced online it would probably do very well (something like TWBB), but not as a big budget hollywood in-theatre movie.

Looks cooler than the other really crappy movies they made honestly.
