Title: Is it time to upgrade to a Radeon 4870?

I figured out this monitor problem. It was my graphics card after all! The poor old 8800GT just decided it didn't want to work any more.

So at the moment I'm stuck with a 7800GT, which is completely useless for playing games with. I've been looking, and a Radeon 4870
seems to be really powerful. Do you think I should return the card and get a 4870 instead?

Now to find that damn receipt!! It has to be somewhere! :P

Check your power supply and motherboard first. If your PC is a bit outdated, you might not even be able to use a modern card.
