Gather chipsets, put some MP3's into RM2k3 to listen to while I work, and begin mapping. If you were meaning an RPG maker game, though.

Get an idea.
get some neat mini games or systems that would fit.
Start the making of resources.
Start the coding for said mini games and systems.

Get tired of all the repeatable work and stop. And then aim on helping other people with stuff.
