Ok, so I am, as stated in the subject, using RPG Maker 2003. Anyway, I just have a quick question. Do battle animations cover the whole screen? (Go to Database -> Animation if you don't know what I mean) And if so, can I use more than 1 battle animation (like the second one starts after the first one ends)?

I don't think they are big enough to cover the screen. Because you're limited on the number of cells...
The second part, you can, but it depends on what you are trying to do.

Ok, thanks.

If I remember this correctly. It's no problem to cover the whole screen with a battle animation, I've seen it done in battles at least.
And unless you program the game to play the second animation after the first - it won't.
If you're talking about a long battle animation you might want to puuuuuuuuuuuush it all into the same animation file and make it a bit shorter. Compile the fire together with some neat explosion and make it a new file.
