Anyway, I turned off the computer. Later, I turned it on. After staying about a minute on the IBM start-up screen, it went to another screen. Something along the lines of a PXE system. Then it said Client Mac ADDR: 00 10 C6 B1 A3 3F. It repeated that PXE thing again until it said "Operating system not found."
After some Googling, I found that I should turn off the "Boot from LAN." After not finding that, another told me to disable the PXE.
After I disabled the PXE, after the IBM, it said "1962: Operating System Not Found." I switched it back.
Any help?

What color is the screen?
-
XP?
My guess is either a hd malfunction or God hates puppies.

It's black.

I say reformat

What OS are you using?

Some important operating system file probably corrupted. Reformat time.

So, my parents switched the computer (my dad works for UNEP and gets some used computers that aren't used.) This new computer boots but does not send an image to the monitor (nothing on screen, the monitor goes into the orange power-save mode.) I tested this with two monitors. What's wrong with this one?

probbly the graphicscard or something like that. My computer got a shitty graphic card that easily get heated. When it does it reboots and the screen remains in standby.

It might be the port too if it's happening with both monitors.
