This morning, somewhere around 7, my cat was struck by a vehicle and killed. Not my family's cat, my cat. I've had her for at least 12 years, so she's been around for a good majority of my lifetime. She was also my favorite member of my family (yes, the pet ranked above blood family. I don't have a great relationship with my family), so her death was very hard for me. I know it's not very bad-ass to cry over a cat, but she meant a lot to me.
So, yeah, expect me to be in a sort of bad mood for a little bit.

Best picture I have of her. Taken a few years ago with a phone, so it's not of the best quality, but I don't have much more to share.

=(
Losing a pet is an awful experience, no matter how old you are. I still miss my Dusty and Sammy...
EDIT: You should seriously fix that AFL. HOLY GOD
-
Hahaha, oops.
-
:(

You have my fullest condolences, man.
I know all too well all the difference a pet cat can have on one's life.
Really sorry to hear it, bro.
-
For me, it was my dog, long ago. I don't think there is anything wrong to cry over a cat. That's only what fake bad-asses want you to think.
My condolences, man. =/

:'(
I had a kitty from the time I was in 3rd grade until I'd almost graduated college. He was a very mild, chill cat that would never run after strings or anything but would always hop up with you when you were watching TV or in bed or something. Before he died, he became ill, and his mood changed and he didn't want to be around people anymore. I was home visiting my parents from college for the weekend and I could see he was not long for this world. Just before I had to leave to drive back to college, my cat emerged from wherever he was hiding, hopped up my lap and started puring, which is something he hadn't done for about a month. I cried pretty hard then. I couldn't stay too long with him because I really had to leave but I knew that was us saying goodbye. Got the call that he had passed on about two days later.
It's an awful feeling, losing a family member like that. Pets can be expressive and unconditionally loving, unlike a lot of people I know, and that cat was with me from the time I was a young kid until I became a man. RIP Newman. I hope you're sleeping in a sink in the great beyond.

One of my dogs currently sleeps on death's doorstep. His legs are starting to go. I hope he's not taken away as suddenly. Keep strong, man.
-
Damn, dude.
-
I'm so sorry to hear that. I've had to give away 2 dogs because of my mum's allergies and had 1 put
down. It really is a traumatic experience.
-
*Takes off hat*
Sorry to hear that man.
-
Don't know really how to feel.
But, per kindness, my condolences.
-
Cats should never die. :'(

Last night, I went to pick up Cat's ashes. Oh, I don't think I mentioned that her name was Cat. Anyway, she's now back home, and I feel just a little bit better to have her back, even if she's not what she used to be.
I miss her so much.
I also have clay disks with her paw prints. I might post pictures of what I have left of her later on, if anyone's interested.
-
That's really sad. Atleast you have all those things to remember your cat by.
-
Unless that's some sort of Brazilian sympathy face, I don't care for your attitude, mister.
