Well not really PC cause I don't have a PC anymore :(. But anyway... looking for a game- what's a good RPG for computer (Mac) with a good story?
-
Emulators.
Also old games. Like the good ol' Septerra Core. Or the PC remake of Grandia 2.
Maybe hit up some Heroes of / Might and Magic games if that kind of thing interests you. It has story but not as much rpg.
-
Arcanum, if you're into Baldur's Gate type RPGs.
Arcanum is ****ing great...made by the same people as Fallout.
ed: You'll need WINE though, to use it.
It works perfectly with WINE, though.
-
Well the story is actually great but NOBODY reads it while playing.
Lies! I did read it all.
-
Haven't played it but my friend said Neverwinter Night 2 was pretty good. Assuming it does work on Mac.
Or, well (George), you could do as Prpl_Mage said; emulators, which I suppose is a pretty good option.

I see what you did there

NWN2 has a Mac port.
-
Fallout 1 + 2 or Arcanum are probably the best choices you can make. I'd think they'd all work on WINE perfectly fine. Or Deus Ex. Actually yeah play Deus Ex. It's technically an FPS/RPG hybrid, but it's a very good game with solid RPG mechanics and an excellent story.

Garry's Mod Gangwars gamemode. Is Garry's Mod on Mac now? I'm sure I heard it was!
-
The Gangwars gamemode is supposed to be an RP, not an RPG. It's just that it's so horribly designed that it turns into a deathmatch with RPG elements. The guy who coded it is like the GMod Bobby Kotick, too.
-
It's not extensively RPG, but you gain EXP, level up, increase stats, find weapons, upgrade weapons and armour and add augmentations
to weapons.
-
Anyway, it hardly fills the "good story" criteria :~
-
Thanks guys.
I do already have an emulator but I checked out a couple of the games you mentioned, and I think I might check out Fallout and NWN.
-
Funny, I just bought NWN to play with a friend.
We're having issues...
