I just finished getting this nice new PC put together. It's my first from-scratch build, and I'm glad to see it running without a hitch. I'm still adjusting to using Windows 7, but other than that, I'm pretty happy.
Let's see if it doesn't catch fire or something in the coming weeks.

Might I ask for the specs/parts/price?
Just out of curiosity.

Just out of curiosity.
I've got some recycled parts (power supply, video card, everything outside the box), but I've got 8 GB of RAM, an i7-2600 Sandy Bridge processor (3.4GHz), and a motherboard with one hell of a long name (Christ, I should learn more about these things). A pretty much straight copy - GIGABYTE GA-P67X-UD3-B3 LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard. Such a mouthful. The case is a Cooler Master HAF 912 (looking like some big black behemoth), my old (and likely to be replaced) video card is a GeForce GT 430. Do you care that much about the power supply? I don't think you do.
Not that I'm in any mood to crunch numbers in the morning, but I think it cost somewhere in the ballpark of $500-$700 (depending on what you count/don't count).

Pictures (taken on a phone with a rather specific need in mind, so maybe not optimal, but whatever).

That is one terrifying case. It looks like a PS2 was eaten by a rainbow and fed steroids.

That's an apt description.
Kind of a weird look.
Seems...efficient, however?
