Yup!

Too bad I'm not going to be able to get it, though...
No money :'(

Nope. Never cared for car combat games (excluding the semi-relevant Mario Kart). They lacked the finesse I like in combat, and the racing fun I require in a driving game.

It's more sheer, utter nostalgia for me.
Played the hell out of them when I was a young'un.
Probably still have Black, somewhere, now that I think about it...

I didn't care for any Twisted Metal past 4.

Or previous to 3.

Agreed. 4 is perfect.

Not that I hated Black, but if this new one steers away from the whole "tragic backstory" thing and back towards the "up yours" attitude, I'll be looking for it. Hearing "Dragula" again is making it seem like this will be the case.

Oh wait, I don't have a PS3.

Number 2 was the best.

2 and 4 were my favourites. I kinda like the one on PSP as well. Haven't heard about the new one, though.
I like the series, but I'm not psyched about it.

Yeah, pretty much.
It was very good.

Ah, good ol' times. I've used to play the second, third, fourth, and Head-On: Extra Twisted Edition (PS2) for the last few years.
The second was pretty good, the fourth was just okay, the third was meh, and Head-On: Extra Twisted Edition was better than both third and fourth (because it has lots more extras and features than in the PSP version + an enjoyable 30-minute video for fans inside).

Finally got a chance to play online.
Holy ****.
Nuke mode is crazy.

Also I am TERRIBLE at it.

edit: Second time around, I was MVP.
Go figure.

My dad bought the game for me because we're bored and terrible at Money.

@ed, Super Tragic Backstories are still in place, kinda. The game is like a median between Black and the PS1 games in tone. Mr. Grimm's dad dying, etc.
On the other hand, boss fight between two monster trucks and giant robots.

I'm like, halfway through campaign mode, at the moment.

Once I get back into the civilized internet plane, I'll probably start playing online, if any are willing and able.
