Title: Boss Monster (Aliens Queens)

Where could I find something like the queen mother from Aliens- it doesn't need any actions other than open its eyes  or maybe spit out a bug (I have made the bugs- they are not that interesting circles with quadrants that change colour and circle eyes). So  basically just a puffy monsterous long  bug.

The game is you are chasing a spaceship (which is actually the mother bug made visible) and it lands and you see the mother bug and then you see quite far away a space ship and this guy who is a space entomologist. These bugs destroy worlds.  He provides you with a gun and armour to fight the bugs (he's a coward) and if you give him more dead bugs  then he can make better guns and/or armour your choice. You basically wake the mother bug early in its plan so its not really ready so it sends sleeping bugs which you can't help make dozy then fully awake due to either getting too close or shooting at them (more and improved bugs later) to defend itself and you win by eventually killing the mother.

Some fun elements for  extra difficulty are a crowd of people grow and they periodically wake all the bugs by shouting and soldier come and their bullets wake the bugs (no actual damage) and they will shoot and kill you if you kill one of them and tank shells which damage one bug a little but wake every single bug to fully awake. Fortunately even fully awake they take time to power up and get more and more dangerous.

As in monster graphic or more like charset graphic? Or maybe a picture?

The game itself sounds good though.

I haven't been able find one- any monster like that fine- even the right search terms would be helpful.  Or a texture which I could put on a rectangle.

Thanks very much for your reply- but I was seeking a big bulbous queen e.g. queen ant. A fixed picture.
