These are things that I did during college last year while I was watching my friends do play-thrus of silent hill and other suspense games.
Anyways, I'm not good at drawing from my mind (which shows in my pixel art too me thinks), so these are hand drawn with an image as reference. Just wanted to state that now.
This first one is an image I made by taking the first espeon pokemon card made, photoshoping her out, and wrapping her around a vaporeon sticker image by cutting off the tail and moving it some. I then blew it up and made a pencil drawing from it.

It depends on if the photo is something that interests me or not. I'm a slow drawer, and most of the above took 20+ hours of pencil to paper to draw. I've started a lot of drawings that I didn't finish simply because I lost interest in looking at the picture.
That could also be because I used a number two pencil for everything, but yeah...

I'm extremely impressed with the shading. The girl's eyes in particular are incredible. How exactly did you do that? Did you use erasing or did you just pencil it in?

I spend years on my sketch topic trying to make things suck less and here you are, with awesome stuff on your first try.

I penciled and erased until the point where the paper was smudgy and I got the effect I wanted. Looks very glossy on the physical copy.
