In this topic I'll post info from my newest project, Realms of Mircel. The game is made with RPG Maker 2003, and currently I am trying to make battle characters fitting for my characters. Here are two of them.

Well, my game is called 'Bright Darkness'.(You can see the title screen in the test welcome board,when i'm introducting myself).

The protagonist of my game has the same face of yours, and he is a thief, rude, cruel and bad.But in the begin of the game his life will change completely, and all party members will have some importance in the game.
(I won't tell anything more, to don't lose the 'bright'!)

Oh yeah!My game have an elf!(I love elves and dragons).And in my other game, (that one i stoped to make-The Start Of The End)the protagonist was a half-elf(human mother and elf father).

Nope, just that one guy. I made them myself about a week ago because he is a character in my game.

They are not very good and there are not very many of them right now...

Awww, 2003's battle system is so much cooler though. You could always put stand-in characters until you get your battle characters made.

And ooops, I forgot about the expressions. I only made four. Here ya go.

For the man with white cape and orange hair:
- Simple sword slash
- Fire magic

For the woman with purple hair:
- Bow attack
- Ice magic

For the girl with orange hair and green suit:
- Knife attack
- Wind magic

For the man with purple hair and blue suit (I quess he is your protagonist, mine too!):

It may be a little late to tell you this, but you can make a front view battle system in Rm2k3 by just setting the battle characters as blank and using front view monsters.  That way if someone does end up making your battlechars then you can easily put them in.

Do not worry too much about music. Most game makers are not composers too. Just use what fits well and what you like.

Resources

Character Set: Kakuo Fujita, Edo, Crown of The Bride Mack & Blue, Roco, Fukuda and various character sets.
Face Set: Edo, Crown of The Bride, Mack & Blue and Roco.
Chip Set: Mack & Blue
Monster: Wild Pudding and various artists.
Battle Character Set: RTP Style (SaiKar has made most of them, thanks for them!)
Music: Final Fantasy IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, X-2, MQ, Xenogears, Xenosaga, Romancing Walker (I have a permission) and other various games.


The Storyline

Two Continents, Agreakoth and Darwen are at War. All fightable people are being sent to War. Many children lost their parents, many parents lost their children. Sorrow and Anger poisoned peoples' minds. But then people heard about The Heart of Mircel, Gaia, a great crystal which controls all life. People wanted to make peace with Gaia, but then came Emperor Agren The XIIth, a powerful Emperor of Agreakoth. He wanted to use Gaia to destroy Darwen, and so he sent his best soldiers to steal Gaia from Serenia Temple for The Emperor.

Ryoshin Valcrist, a young light-hearted man, was part of this journey with his lifelong teacher and friend, Cedric Bladestorm. The Mission took months, and finally they found Serenia Temple in the middle of nowhere.

And then, Ryoshin, blinded by his greed, unleashed Gaia's power to become the strongest one in Mircel. But Ryoshin didn't now what power he is playing with.

Gaia, unleashed by human blinded by greed, got poisoned and unleashed its power upon Mircel. And so Gaia created monsters, fierce beasts. Mircel was thrown into Chaos.

Then, Ryoshin realised what he had done, he wanted to commit a suicide, but Cedrid suggested to make an alliance between Agreakoth and Darwin to destroy the monsters, and cure Gaia. But there is one problem: Emperor Agren became the most vicious and evil Emperor in Mircel, and he doesn't like peace very much.

Now, Ryoshin must to explore the other Kingdom in Mircel, Ranyrth, to find a way to save Mircel from Darkness once and for all.

Why the Continents are at war? What is the reason for Chaos? What is the meaning of an Ancient Legend called "Legacy of Valcrist"? What is the meaning of Ryoshin's mysterious dreams?
These questions find answer in Realms of Mircel!

As someone who has had to write love scenes for his own game, I can tell you that they are HARD.

I basically let the characters ramble (write down whatever comes to mind) until I have some length, then read it over and change a few things until it sounds somewhat natural.

Edit: on another note, is it  Elyon Chantrave that I am making a bcharacter of? What kind of girl is she? Passive or confrontational? Healer type? These kinds of questions determine the poses I give her.

She is something like umm... Kind, likes to help people, but still hides her feelings. She is very experienced with White Magic, too.

-then they look at eachother
-and then the final moment

It's quite incredible how many times you've said "You Rule" without even knowing the story. You've judged on visuals alone.

Finally, I got back from Italy, trying to assasinate Alex, and I succeeded! The one who keeps posting here is fake Alex, remember that. Venice is a very great place. I got a damn much inspiration for RoM. Example, one city resembles Venice very much. Also, I made a city that looks like San Marino. And.... I bought a katana and a wakizashi! W000T!

Okay, and the un-updates...

COMPUTER CRASH!!! AAAAAARGH!!! But nothing to worry about, I got all the resources on CD, and the manuscript is ready, so, I just have to do all the maps and dialogue again. It won't take too long.

Eh, prolly true. I think I made that after doing a bunch of girl sets. Girls usually have their hair way back. But since Pedro made a full set of out of the prototype I guess it is too late to change it now.

Then, in one dark day, when Ryoshin was 11 years old, Michel came to the house and saw what Ryoshin had done. He didn't want his son to become a warrior. And so  a great fight began between father and the son. The battle ended to the victory of Ryoshin. After killing his father, Ryoshin fled Agreakoth. Years passed, Ryoshin had seen much of Mircel, and now he's a mercenary. One day he encountered an Agreakothian army, who attacked Ryoshin and his friends. His friends were killed, but one man named Cedric Bladestorm took him to Agreakoth, where Ryoshin became Cedric's student. Now, Ryoshin's 19 years old.
