Title: Costume Request
Post by: TerBoozooka on July 15, 2012, 07:56:15 PM
Hey. For my game, Theseus, I would like to have my hero (normalwoman2) have the option of different costumes. But I can't find many that would work. So if you guys would assist, that would be great. These are the ones I kinda would like. You can be creative if you want.

Very formal
Maid

So if you guys would help, it would be appreciated.
ALL THAT IS NEEDED IS THE BATTLECHARAS SPRITE.

Not gonna give you any false hope. But I doubt there's a lot of people feeling that they have the time to do rtp battle chars lately.

Your best bet would probably be to take that cute head of hears and paste it over existing battlechars to get the costumes you want. Maybe give them some colour swap or something.

Hold on one sec, tho. Is there a command that changes battlecharas sprite, or do I have to do a load of work?

Change hero class, page 4.

What exact setting out of class so I don't have to type every stat again?

Basically you create your character as a class as you want it. The "normal" outfit. Next you copy said class and pastes it as many times as differences in appearer you want. You'll get all the stats and skill learning.
(using the change class option "no change in skills" and "no change in stats" I remember getting a bit wierd when levling up with the new class when it's not the same...)

Next up you change the battle sprite for these classes and could name them the same as the outfit. So the only thing that makes all these classes different are the battle sprite.
Now that you have your classes you create an event to change the character class and pick the class you want to change to.

And that's unfortunately the only way I know off.
