Am playing the first mission now after 45 minutes of updating. Anyone started it yet? I'm freakin excited, this game has been giving me blue balls since the midnight launch last night.
-
I hope it's good. Most I've seen are forests, mountains and such. Are there any big towns like in all the other ones? Does it look promising?
-
I need to catch up on playing the last two games before I can bother caring about this game. You know, because when you're this far behind, whether you like the games or not, you just don't give a ****.
-
...yeah, I also need to finish Revelations. They may not be as linked as all of the Ezio storyline, but still...
-
I never finished the first!
Apparently the plot gets all weird at the end?
-
A little. It's all very sci-fi, but nothing too far out of line from what you should already have figured out from the start.
-
I've heard that it's pretty...

I'm only up to the ending of AC2, and I don't remember how it ended, but I don't think it's necessarily aliens.
Could be wrong, since I'm only at the half-way point and can't remember.
-
I've never played the games. I don't own a console, but I have friends who love the game and I was under the impression it was all...

Unless I've really missed something, that's not true at all.
-
I don't care, I just want to command my goddamn boat.

Well, you know, that came from the guy who apparently never played mario 1... sooo, yeah.
-
Wait. Assassins creed is about aliens and timetravel?
-
What I've heard is that the plot revolves around alien technology that's being used by the Templars, and the Assassins are trying to stop it/take it for themselves.
The memory machine is so that the Templars can use what's his names brain to find where they're hidden.
I only got about 3/4 of the way through the first, though, and what I heard was that the aliens only come into play in like, the last part of that. So...yeah.

I don't recall any actual
aliens
at all. I suppose that
alien artifacts
are what people are referring to, but not actual
aliens
.
