I don't know if this is the right board or not. It's been waaay too long since I posted but I wanted to let people know I'm super close to completing a game for the first time and I'm slowly getting back into it. Though sadly I've kinda lost my love for RPG 2003 and really, really want a new engine with less limited capabilities like IG maker but every time I DL it my internet is so slow it leaves bits behind. _sweat_ Same with VX Ace. Siiigh...Though I have plenty of projects in my list to work on, including Warped when I get some time to play around with it. Though if I don't learn how to tell the bullet it's hit something I'll give up on the ABS system and go with the original plan from the begging: DBS based ship to ship. Again just letting you all know I'm going to try and drop in here more often and I'm back officially. If this is the wrong board sorry I guess I'm more rusty than I thought. :P

XD Felix! I was just wondering if you were around. Yeah I announced my return sometime this year. ^_^ Utra dramatic of course. Ah whoops wrong thread. ^^; This thread was sorta "hey what's up" thing. Letting people know I'm back into RPG making and close to finishing a project. Sigh if only photobucket or something would make an exception for my slow internet I'd post some screens.

Glad to see you're back, although this wouldn't have been out of place in T&W...
I'm not going to nitpick, though. AoA is close enough.

Nice to see old names.

Gamemaker is useful, RPGMVX can be found on steam.
Welcome back!

Welcome back old chum!

Huzzah!
I lost my love for rm2k3 about the time I learned to actually program because of all the things I couldn't do with it. If you're feeling ambitious, I recommend trying to make a real game with XNA, just make sure you have some graphics to use. I ran into the problem where I spent months programming this nice 3D game engine with all these advanced (but easy to use) features like catmull-rom camera movement, quaternion rotations, shadows, animation, efficient caching of resources, etc, but then I gave up because I had no graphics to work with :(

It's good to see you back.
(I mean, I'm drunk as dicks and have nothing to contribute, but I still read the things that go on here, so I'm happy about it.)

It's good to see you too, lad. I remember the times.
-
They were the best of times. Sometimes also the worst of times. Occasionally the blurst of times.
-
Rarely the first of times.
So many virginities up in here...

This site's for making games?

XD Good to see my old "nemesis" as well! Who else would I villainize for nostalgia. How is your impregnable fortress?

Um not a fan of making 3D games. I more prefer the 2D kind. They are quick an easy to edit plus you don't see many these days outside of RPG makers.

Zerl! Wow I just saw a PM from you in my Inbox while cleaning it out. I thought you were gone. Glad to see you're still here. ^_^
