May your mothers' day be quite a happy one.
-
Still some days until it happens over here, but yay.
-
Well my grandmother died today so i guess it's not such a happy mother's day :/
-
Aww.
-
Damn, that's unfortunate.
So, what did we all buy our mothers?
I got mine the last book in a series she likes, a McDonald's coffee and a Simpsons DVD box set.
Australians love The Simpsons.
-
bird bath
-
Car wash and dinner.
I'm broke.
-

It's not Twilight is it? Please tell me it's not Twilight.
Either way, I bought nothing because I never celebrate it.

It''s 50 shades of gray of course.

Neither of those. You are both banned forever from that thing you like.

So I'm banned from gay sex with you? Shame.
-
Oh yeah, should've mentioned all that. I went super cheap-o and baked a cake. Worked out great though, spent like 10 bucks and she was absolutely over the moon about it. <No, I've never said that before

Sometimes we hurt ourselves to make sure justice is dealt.
-
Tell me about it.

Mother's day is on a different day here in England. I think.
Either that or I missed it.

That "last book" wouldn't be "the Wheel of Time: A Memory of Light" would it?
As for my mom. I took her out to get pizza, got her two Gaelic Music CDs and a DVD we can watch together. One of the only Cartoons I know for certain she didn't mind watching: Courage the Cowardly Dog Season 1.

I suppose it's just Sweden that don't really celebrate mother's day with anything fancy. Mother's day for me is basically that I tell my mother "have a great mothers day", she gets some flower and we all eat dinner together.
-
Seems to be the same, here. Then again, perhaps I'm just acquainted with people who don't really care all that much.
Personally, I did nothing. But then again, I'm not really close to my mother, aside from literally.
