Title: Best Video Game Front Cover Artwork

Totally not stealing the idea.

So, the front cover of a game case got this artwork right? Like a book does, and damn that **** is crazy! In most cases it's even more artful than the crap that passes as art these days.

Some of my favourites are:

Kingdom Hearts, The style is just great, also it wasn't the typical final fantasy logo with a white background and a coloured icon.

I bought this game recently, and I absolutely adore it.
It's a very good RPG.
One of the best, in my opinion.
Badass cover art, too.

I'm a fan of simple art.

That's gorgeous.

Skyrim looks damn good, too, but I like Morrowind more than Skyrim.

I've never really been all that big on video game cover art. Sometimes you get terrible art, but I very rarely have anything stick out and blow me away. After much consideration, I have selected the following:

It was really something else when it first showed up on store shelves, and it still has the ability to communicate the franchise without looking played out. It has the benefit of being so unique that no other company can dream to imitate it without being immediately called out for ripping off GTA.[/spoiler]

I love the simplicity of FF7's cover.  And I remember loving the gold box Pokémon Gold came in; it was like a wrapped present. They're my choices.
