It's been out for a while, and I know a lot of you guys are Nintendo fans but I'm certain someone played it. If so, did you like it? If you haven't had the chance to play it yet, feel free to discuss / ask questions as well!
Personally I loved the game. While I don't play enough games in year of release (this is my first release buy since Borderlands 2) I can see how this is a contester to the Game of the Year title. The atmosphere, music, environment, art and characters were really immersive and the gameplay reminded me slightly of Arkham Asylum. Sneaking around, trying to take out enemies one by one. I found there was a good mix between stealth and combat in the game.
Overall, while I'd never say ANY game is a 10/10, this game is worth it to play.

I thought the game was not as good as the hype about it was, but it was still a good game.
Lack of 'bosses' and lack of variety in fighting made the game kinda boring as it went along.
Plot and characters are great. Very real.

Some bosses would've been a good addition that I felt missing as well. You only had six enemies: running zombies, stalking zombies, blind zombies, fat zombies, melee humans and ranged humans. A tad more variation, even by just a few bosses, would've been nice.

I've heard that it's good. I just tend to breeze through these kinds of games unless there's any challenge to them. Like dead space and stuff.

I'm starting to become burnt out on this whole zombie craze. It was cute at first, but now they're freaking EVERYWHERE. :x
The gameplay is alright. If you've played one stealth action game you've pretty much played them all. My one complaint is that you can't carry/drag the corpses out of sight.
Also a room of clickers is the easiest thing in the world to clear. Throw a molotov, they'll all run into it, give yourself a pat on the back.

I was really moved by the opening... brought back some bad personal memories, though...
So far I played up to the first Clicker encounter and have been blown away repeatedly by this game's awesome design.
The only oddity I noticed was just how easy it was to sneak around, especially behind, enemies. After we got Elly
and was slipping through the rain, the soldier's spotlight lit up Elly and Tess several times, but they were unalarmed...

You're correct Alecain, enemies don't spot your allies. This was made as a design choice that your allies mistakes do not give away your position, an issue Naughty Dog noticed a lot of players complained about. Now of course, players (mostly haters) are complaining about this choice but ah well, you can't please everyone. I was happy they made the choice. It bugs me when trying try sneak behind an enemy to have a dumb AI ally ruin it for you.

Well, they could make it a toggable option, like "hard mode" or something.

I've always been under the impression that difficulty settings would be really awesome if they were in depth like that.
Of course, I think that'd be hard to balance and make fun.
-
Not making the helper AI "visible" is fine by me. The game would've been a lot less fun were it the opposite.

I really like the characters. Especially Joel. Kind of reminds me of my uncle Joel. Hmmm... :o
