Title: My first charsets
Post by: danilynnarthur on March 29, 2003, 03:30:35 AM: Hiya! Just wanted to show off some of my brand-spanking-new charasets, courtesy of Charas! :bend:

From left to right: The lady in the robe is the b*tchy Dowager Queen. She hates the hero character who is her daughter, the one taking up the rest of the row, in three different poses.

The lady in the wedding dress is an NPC getting married, the one in the red dress is another b*tch, Princess C, who is wife of the next chara on the chart, Prince K. Last but not least is Prince K's father.

Well, there's this happy bunch. More to come! :D

Anyhoo, this is one of the "bad guys", the enemy soldier in my RPG. :badboy: The plan is to sort of create a battle scene in a war. Other enemy soldier charsets wear different helmets and have different weapons. I also have the main villain charset too. :D

Post by: SMB on March 31, 2003, 06:46:50 AM: For the enemy you must decide where you want the blade, in Charas you can put the blade in back or in front of the PG, it can't be everywere! :D

Got inspired by looking at a pic of an elven character.... so tried to replicate her. Hope I didn't do too badly. :blush:

Oh just come out and say it already, you want to know!

Actually they're 3 repainted Gene (fashion) dolls I found on the web.... don't tell nobody tho ;) Why spend $300+ on the doll when I could make the sprite? No, I'm not THAT talented. I couldn't do that if I tried. I'm only a mere little spriter.... :blush: and only a spriter thanks to Charas :w00t:

If ya want 'em, just PM me.... oh, what the heck, here's the actual Airlyn set.....her "official" name is Airlyn of the Winged Wind (I didn't make it up)

Sharu....those are nice too. :) It's a wonder what we could use our imaginations to do. :D :bend:

One observation.... you guys seem to be into the dark, gory stuff. Not me. I've done dark and gory before (see earlier in the thread), not to my liking.

How about one more? It's along the same line as the Airlyn and the Melyna sprites..... I did have one problem while doing this one. I tried to get her hair a darker reddish orange than it came out.
