I am going to make a all 100% custom game...
No rtp character sets/battle character sets/chip sets/and anything...
Even the title screen will have no reseblance...
This may not seem posible..but i know what im doing...
Ive spent 1 year trying to figure out how to do so..i now know...but there is some problem...
There is a lot i dont know how to do and might need some help...
This is why i decided to ask you guys...And i also have trouble following tutorials and making them work...
I hope you can help me...
and i hope you can help me with resources...

1.First of all I need A story!!!
I would like it to be original..NOT STOLEN FROM ANY OTHER GAME!
I have 2 weeks to put this game together...
startign 2 days ago...
in 2 weeks i will go to my mom's house (Irony:from charas)
I have rpg maker there..
I will use rpg maker 2003 for this game
2. I need a game name!!!!
I need a title screen
Custom made(from scratch,or at least very edited..[not from any games])
3.I need a hero (profile and iformation)
A charaset for it..and a maching face set..
I got a sprotesize battle charaset maker allready...
4.I need a game over screen.
5.I need a original system made from scratch.
6.I need a original custom made title midi and game over midi..
also a intro midi...

I am excellent at making characters! And I can come up with story lines good too!
FFL makes custom Systems
Moiledzep makes midi's (there GREAT!)
My Brother Reain_ Could help too!
Here is a character set made by Shady Ultima that you could use!
I will post a face set for him too! When I can find/make one!

And this guy's name is Raiden, heres his biography...
name: Raiden
age: 21
class: Ninja/assassin
weapon: double katana
style: Kuno-muyo (Hallucination blade) and Tiger style blade
history: Raiden was raised on the streets of Japan by a triad, he has learned the way of the sword, and now is off to kill the ones who murdered his parents! He is a very sensitive easy-going guy.
And his main weaknes.....the ladies. ;)

By "100% Original", do you mean drawn yourself?
Because that Evil Priest looks like it was made with charas.EX.

And Frosty, what the hell are you thinking? If you put other people make (Even) the story, graphics and so on... It means IT IS NOT YOUR GAME AT ALL.

if ya make the story and the leading characters we can make title screens and game over screens and all that kinda stuff:D
and...i most sertenly want credit for helping on your game;)

I did not mean 100% drawn...and em...i will credit the people that i take stuff from...
and i can make the charecters...
never mind..i think i could manage the title...maybe...but the midi..ill ask moiledzep...he is my team...(BraveSoft)
and um....
I think i will make this game like old school..i mean like the old game boy rpgs...like...you are the hero...then you PICL your team mates...you pick 3 other friends and they help you on your quest...if there is a sequel...i will make it much better...

1) He said he was going to make a 100% custom game. Meaning everything is custom (nothing generated), no RTP involved.
2) Although it's his own creation (supposedly), he's asking everyone to do the work for him.
3) I'm in a good enough mood to point out all the small flaws and then criticize... for the common good that is. :)

Listen frosty, I have no problem with helping you and all, but you should come up with the story yourself, I mean, I will give you some plots and stuff, but not the story. And for a title, I can make those, but I need to know the story and name before I can do that. Well, I hope you read this soon :D !

I have 2 weeks to put this game together...
It's impossible to make a game in so short time at less it'll get very short.

FF7..i never played really..it got boring after 45 minutes really!
but ff6 i played till i finished the game!!!!!
That game is awesome!
and i didnt mean 2 weeks to make the game..i ment 2 week to plan it(story and crap)
what ever...
i got it all together now....
and i call it Project X (due to the game not having a name allready)

sorry frosty it sounds like you've been doupted by your fellow members (you'd think you'd get support)
but, i agree with them how this gods name are you planning to make a "TOTTALY CUSTOM" game in 2weeks with everyone doing it for you, its being quite stupid if you ask me.....

Let him believe what he wants. Let him see what happens. It's the best thing for game creators to do. mess up the first time. Then they'll understand the concept of time.

go to www.war of the magi.com in the utilties section for a neat ultimate tutorial called zorns rm2k tools. Where you can find everything to need. Well i guess this thread is burning...ouch. >:

thoes anyone know of a tutorial that tell you howe to make a game in default..just to lern the basics?it would be fun to follow...
