Im working on a RM2k game called "Legend of Lea" and soon I will release my first demo! ;)

And if you want to help me with my project that okay, cause I need some assistants. :)

You can ask me anything about the game in this topic!

Storyline:
One day every year the full moon shows itself.
That day six prophets climbs to the top of Dethreth Mountain to absorb power from the moon. This power aids us Life, air and pure water, thats why that day is very important to the humanity. But this night when the moon is about to show itself, it does not show up.
You'll start as the hero "Skyne" and your job is to find out why the moon didn't show up last night.

I have never seen you B4 Robotam. Are you new? Anyway, your game looks great! May I suggest that when you come out with a demo, that you tell the BETA TESTERS. They are great at Beta testing games :) . My brother, Reain_ , is the leader. Ask for him to do it. He's great at it. Well, I hope your game comes out fine :D . The story line is awesome  :flower: ! And if you need any help, i'll be glad to do it ;) .

The storyline sounds great from what little he gave us. Interesting and not overdone to death like so many other storylines.

The game has potential. I will watch for more information.

its sorta glitchy, it takes off from that that link game from the N64.

I guess so, but if your nameless hero who suddenly just pops out of nowhere and starts fighting in ABS battle arenas, then theres no storyline but just fighting for your life in a arena that never ends or something. Oh okay...your right.  :bend:

I've finally finished all the scenes it's just a little more coding and  then Im done with the demo!  ;)

I think the demo will be available to download tomorrow or on Sunday. :D

Sure i can rate the game for you basically thats what i do anyway and ill put up the review and bugs in the beta tester section this way you and me can disscuss any problems that there may be and it wont fill this up (unless you want it posted here)

Yea, you should. Actually you need the RM2K font patch to fix that font. And on that note the game looks cool, but with the lack that you didn't get the font patch, starting to doubt how good this game will be.

By the way will it be a DBS (Default Battle System) game or ABS (Adventure Battle System)?

The rm2k3 enter hero name bug fix fixes the font to a plain but pretty good one (Actually the one from KH exept that all letters are in same width). If you don't care 'bout enter hero name just insert the new font and delete the old one, but don't add the new RPG_RT.exe to your project.

The game is way too short for a demo. I finished it in 10 minutes. It was quite good, but contained very much typos.

I like the game thus far, but one thing troubles me. I think you are getting deep into the story pretty early. But I'm pretty sure you know what you're doing. It just seems that way to me.

i just played the demo of it, and it was okay i guess. Arbor Day Rule is also in it. As in talking to a tree, but it was'nt bad.   :) Keep up the good work.

Tested it...

Lots of typos, they concerned me a bit.

For the story, everything happened a bit too quickly.

Graphics were REFMAP style, which isn't used so much lately.

Too short.

Actually this demo is just the beginning, and I didn't make everything to happend quickly without a reason. I made it so because of a purpose. There will happend many things on the road to Dethreth Mountain, I shall probably not reveal anything about whats going to happend, but it's not a short game.
My advice to you is to download the second demo when it's out because it will be much longer and much more gameplay.

I'm here to tell some news about Legend of Lea's second demo!

Almost 80% of the demo is done, and today I got done with the "Fishing System", that's the first mini game this far!  ;)
Screen is down there..

I got thank "Ghostclown" for making the fishing poses and "Ruler of the Dark" for helpin me out with the boxes puzzle, thank you very much for that! :)

I'm planning to release the second demo in the beginning of July..

Feel free to ask any questions about the second demo in this thread...

You need 2 files...
