Looking to have your game tested? Well instead of posting a new thread, all requests will be posted here.
Please post using the following guidline:
Name of Game:
Average play time:

E-mail address:
*Posts not following that guidline can and will be deleted*

All right, I think I fixed it so you don't need the RTP (I've been having problems with this) so...
http://www.angelfire.com/yt/stories1/Angel_Armor.zip
Average Play time: a couple of hours at least, don't know the exact count.
Size: 18.4 megs
Storyline: This game is called Angel Armor: Side Story. Thanks to a publishing company called iUniverse, I've successfully published two books, scifi/fantasy genre. In these books, a fourteen year-old gets transported to a fantasy world via a mystical gauntlet and it's revealed that he was prophesized over 1,000 years ago to save it from a great darkness. I know, sounds kind of cliched, but trust me, no one has given me a bad review about it yet, so I take it as a good sign.
And so, this game is based on these books, but not on this person. As the name of the game implies, it's a Side Story, events occurring at the same time as those in the book, but not about a lot of the characters of the book. This is like the 08th MS Team to the original Mobile Suit Gundam - a story about people in the war, but not the main players of the war. In fact, many of the events that the NPCs are talking about will be related to events in the book.
One warning about the game when you first try it - The world map is closer in design to an actual planet, and as such, the cities aren't in a nice straight line for you to go from one to the next, but are scattered about the continent. Fortunately, many of the characters give you directions to the cities while also each city you enter will automatically have a little window pop up informing you of the name of the city you've entered.

Ok well I got another game tht im testing but it won't be long so im sure i cn get your game in to (cuz i get bored playing one game) so it should not be to long unless if i run into a problem but if i do i will tell you so i say 1-2 weeks and i should be done and post up the review for it
EDIT: mmmm there is somthing wrong it says angle fire dosn't allow direct links so if you give me the link to your home page i can get it off there or send it through e-mail to JMD1488@aol.com and put beta test in the subject

Yo buddy. I know I haven't been around latley but I got a site to take care of. I'm pretty sure Alex shares my pain. But I made this game and gave up all hope for it. It has to many spellin errors and some other problems. But I made it to test how RPG maker works. Which I was highly satisfied with the results I got. Well a lot of peeps told me. You should never put your system test games on the internet. I say the hell with them. I'll let my good friends test it. So What I really want you to test is if you can understand what the charater actions are and also tell me if the game moves to fast. Along with if they talk to much or to little and last but not leaste tell me if the battle system. Is to much or to little. Over all I really don't need the story line tested just the system and stuff like that. Thanks and Happy postin. :)
Edit: I fogot the link ^_^ silly SMo. http://f2.pg.briefcase.yahoo.com/sandra.friday@sbcglobal.net

Problems in Shanto-demo
If any of you have seen this in the game section, I thought it was the place to put your game ^^;; guess I didn't read well
Average play time: Takes me about 30 minutes to an hour
Size: 2155 KB
Story line: You will start off with the main character (Trikitiger, which is not me) dreaming as the movie intro, you wake up and go to the school of the organization on the count you are a created Pokemon (AHHH!!! POKEMON!! Don't worry, it's just linked to it, only a few items, and alot of monsters are related to it.). You go on a mission to stop a theif that looks like the one from your dreams, then you find yourself in trouble, then find yourself KOed in a fountain, the rest is explained later.
In the demo game there are two glitches I forgot to fix, and that's the bottom slidey thingy for the chase (in the beginning) and the invisible shopkeepers in the 3rd badge town. Now because this is a demo, it only goes up to the 3rd badge (out of 8), You'll learn a little bit of the game, but it doesn't go through the major memory spot, or any of the secret character spots (Though I do have 1 ready).
And one last thing. I know I mentioned Pokemon... EEEVVVEEERRRYYYOOONNNEEE here hates Pokemon (almost), but I made this idea 2 years ago and wanted to finish it. And don't worry, because it is not fully Pokemon related you won't need to capture Pokemon, basically the four main characters and secret ones (I have a cool enemy system with the secret characters ^^ If you have 1 secret one you can't get another certain one).
Enough of my babbling (I hate it too.......) here's the site:

If you don't download it opening the file, do the save as trick

Length: Guessed at 1-2 hours, I'm not sure =)
File size: w/o RTP 17 megs.
Breif overview: Mika, a fledgeling priestess in an abbey tucked away in the corner of a large world, finds her faith turned suddenly upside-down when she finds there are more things to worship than she thought. This game contains some heavy bias and philosophies, as well as very fundamental views on various fictitious religions. There are some very idealistic and opinionated views in this game, so if you take offense to religious propaganda, don't worry about it. Remember, I am a writer. I don't necessarily feel what all the charas say is true.
I should hope that my RPG is entirely original in content, and well written. I do my best and I am no amateur at the written word. Please give me some feedback!
Given all that, I'm afraid I don't have any webspace available onto which to upload 17 megs, and my e-mail doesn't support a file that size... so if you'd like I can AIM/MSN/ICQ the file to you.
AIM - Seiraku
MSN - Blue478@hotmail.com
ICQ - 32969043
Thanks ^^
-
my job, I'll test this.
wait a sec, Rar files? No, sorry mate, convert it to a zip.
-
could someone test my demo, plz? I posted it on Games, but i don't have any website hosting that will allow more than 5 or so ppl to download it...
my game is called Dragonlord.
The average time to beat it, I'm guessing is about 30-60 mins.
I've zipped it down to about 14,700 KB.
The storyline goes like this:
Your main chara is named Tessle,
He lives in a small town with a small life. He enjoys every moment of his peaceful life. He knows everyone in the tightknit community. Then, one day, one week after he married to the love of his life, Anne, his town, Vayr, was attacked by a mysterious group. Fighting for everything, he was cornered in the tavern, when the burning floor collapsed. He was knocked unconcious, when he awoke, everyone, and everything was gone. His heart became set on one thing, revenge. After burrying his wife, you take control and set out across a canyon to the nearest town of Fairborn. The events that follow change the course of Tessle's deteariating life down a very unexpected path!
The only succesful way i can transfer this demo is by AIM. Is it possible?
-
Yes, thats possible.
-
could u test my game, plz? I'd like to see what other ppl think of it
-
I thought I was testing your game.
oh yeah, broken, link.
Look, I don't hae an AIM, so could you see if you could host it on another site, please?
-
i will test your game drenrin2120 but could you send it to me through msn because i don't have AIM.
-
I don't have AIM or MSN, but I'd like to test it if you could find a hosting site.
-
I'm really sorry, I don't have any place to post my demo online. Does anyone have any suggestions? What sites do you host on?(It must be free! I'm a little young to get a sustainable job anywhere around here)
Anyway, until then, I'll get a screen name <--- drenrin2120
on msn Yoshara. so when you catch me on charas I'll be on msn. Thanx!
(I'm almost always on so it won't be hard to catch me)
-
I host my mp3 files at sitesled (http://www.sitesled.com), since they allow 100mb space. I assume that would be enough for you to fit a demo of a game on, and I don't think there is a max size for an upload.
-
Okay, I know it's been a while, but I sorted a few things out and I've finally got a place to store my game. I've seperated it into four zipped files tho. The sfx killed me! anyway, here it is, if someone could test it for me... it's now possible to get the demo!
http://login.yahoo.com/config/login?.fUpdate=1&.tries=1&.src=bc&.intl=us&.done=http://f1.pg.briefcase.yahoo.com
enter drenrin2120 for the ID
and dragonlorddemo for the password.
then go to my folders THEN to File Folders,
downloading the four folders will get you the demo. All you have to do is put them all in the same folder in the normal arrangement they should be in.
-
drenrin2120 i am downloading your demo right now but since i am running on dile up this might take a bit.
-
it says it cant open it
:frag: (my comp)
" ahhhh!!!!! DIE!!"
-
I don't know what to tell you, it works for me, and I think it worked for yoshara. Maybe you typed password wrong or something with your comp. sorry
-
drenrin i would have posted this awile ago but your game is running perfectley but the sound files couldent be downloaded for some reason.
-
Hm.. do the music files work? bcuz if so, you should be fine. I used all RTP sfx neways except for one sfx which i don't use in the demo.
-
I'll be able to do Destructor's now, hence, I have WinRAR.
-
Hey, yoshara, I haven't heard anything from you in a while. The last thing I knew, you were testing my game. It's been such a long time that I've been able to make an updated version! I'm just curious... what's going on?
-
I have now updated the game a bit to fix a lot of the errors that existed and since it was reviewed when you only had a few reviewers, I'd like to give it another shot.
http://www.angelfire.com/yt/stories1/Angel_Armor.zip

I'll try it out.

Game is called Land of Fire....and is near completion sadly since
i've moved i put it on hold for almost a year :) but i'm finally back
at it....
Play time is at least 3 or so hours

and story line jumps around a bit...but will come together in
the end...it's about juliana(juls) a women high in the royal
guard who is obsessed with the capture of another women
julianas love was taken in the begining and half the game is
her trying to find him....and stumbling upon a huge conspiracy
along the way between the Southern Kingdom and the Northern
kingdom....a few side quests that are good to go on to lvl up
but aren't necessary...
I hope i can get a few ppl to test it out...i know there's probably
a good bit wrong even though i tried to find everything.....
http://www.angelfire.com/ultra2/sebeden0/LandofFire.rar
Thanks to the Admin for this service ;) and whoever can test for me ;)~

Hi, I got the demo of my Journey of Heroes game done, so I figured I'd send it in for testing. I've been doing my own testing, but you never know ^^"
Anyway, here's the info:
Average play time: 10-20 minutes (it's only the first level v.v)
Size: not EXACTLY sure...it's been a while since I checked. I think it was only like...20MB
And a briefing of your story line: Well, not much in demo, but here's the story line. Four heroes are off on a journey to figure out why the Main Continent of Nirana is having monster trouble, and why the city of Daimondo is now covered in strange looking clouds.
The four heroes get to the main Cotninent by boat and have to fight off monsters. The first place they go to is the Dracolich Caverns. Inside they find the causer of the fire monsters that roam the land, and have to fight him. Well...if I said anymore, I'd give a lot away. I think I already gave too much away. Try getting a Game Over in the final battle, I made a special ending if you do. Note: You still get a game over, though.
If anyone is interested in testing it out, let me know storycatchermike@yahoo.com
-
Umm...I hope this isn't like "bumping an old topic" but i have the full version of my Journey of Heroes: The Crystals of Chaos completed if anyone wants to test it. I'll have to send it through e-mail...and it'll probably take like...4 e-mails just to send it, though...since Yahoo only allows me to send 10 MB at a time, and it's a 30 MB game...
-
Sure, ill test your game for you. My e-mail address is linklocsh7124@hotmail.com
-
I wanna test the game! here is my msn. www.lycksta@hotmail.com
and by they way. do anyone wanna test my game ``Huruki the orc´´?
-
Hey, I have a demo ready to be tested. I already asked GhostClown but he seems to have a bit of trouble with my host. Anyway, here's the link:
The Diamond Soul Demo! (http://www.freewebs.com/weerd_thing/index.html)
Average Time: About 20-30 minutes
Where the demo takes you: To the first boss. It's pretty tough, so I suggest you level up a bit before facing off with it.
Size: 2.3 megs.
Story: You are Clide, a survivor of the attack 10 years ago on the Durinthal Detachment 13 which started a war between machines and the living. You prepare a sneak raid on the Machinoid base, but you decide to throw a party for the years of guidance of the Krysmaster. All of a sudden, the Krysmaster goes missing. What's going on? More on the story if you visit my web site, when you click on the banner in my sig.
Please, if someone wants to test it, just say so. :)
W££rd
-
Sure thing Weerd, I'll help to test it. I've wanted to test this for quite some time. But (Not to be mean) could you try a different site to upload to? Freewebs is damn slow. I recommend this site (http://www.rapidshare.de). If the link doesn't work, copy and paste.
May I already commend you on a small filesize. I'm sick of demos which are 20MB. :D
Anyway, review to come.
-
OK, I can put my website back to CJB then...
Here's the link: The Demo (http://www.diamondsoul.cjb.net/index.html)
Thanks Dragonium.
