well the first one i wanted to abandon that theread cause of osmose and me having a conflict.  the second one got abandoned cause it was in the wrong forum thus, this is the new thread :p

I actually like it more without the background, dunno why really..

I like the Aque Teen one, Shake looks real good. Frylock looks kinda like he's old to me for some reason, still good though. ^_^

Ir eally need to stop drawing these so freaking huge.  But the thing is, flash will make paths snap to other close paths so I draw huge to prevent that.  Well here he is without color:

ok heres the coor version (bleh).  If someone could do me a favor and re-color this better for me plz...cause flash wouldn't recognize all those blank spaces as actuall shapes to fill.  of course, fireworks did... _sweat_

um thanks.  I can BARELY draw well on pencil and paper.  I do ok up to a point.  truth is, I just feel more comfortable with a mouse.

if i can ever get my scanner working, i can prolly show you guys some of my work.  and none are traces.  some are free draw, other times i have a picture of something i want to draw to look off of.  but anyway, im terrible with the mouse, so free draw is up my ally.  but i suppose i should start practicing if i ever want to get a job in graphics design.

actually your getting much better than when you began. besides the basic disshape and it doesnt look exactly like the anime problems that plague anyone who draws(trust me, it still looks nice) youve improved considerably from your first drawing. No stray lines, nice solid base, you have become an artist!

thanks. my trick: I have put away my fear of drawing largely.  i used to draw really small so in case i messed up it would be harder to tell.

ok, huff, puff. my alucard is jacked up (PUN, lol) and it's cuz for some reason flash doesn't fill stuff in sometimes. i've tried to fix it by redrawing the lines bunches of times but the only thing that workds is coloring the rest in fireworks. so it looks kinda bad cuz of that.

Truth be told, I can barely draw in rl or on teh comp. I mean, if I actually try and take time on It I can do something halfway decent, but my forte is doodling.

As for the line problem, find a checkbox somewhere that says anti aliasing. turn it off, or turn something called hard line on. one of the two should be in the program and it will solve your problem. do this only for lines. antialiasing in any other case is a good thing. basically its the shading to make the line look a bit more blended and less pixely, and when flood fill comes around that shading wont be counted in the fill

NO MORE FLASH! lol.  Bah, I like how I do something good then you turn around and do it better.  It makes me realize that I still have a long way to go and am in no way homefree.  So I'll keep practicing.  As for antialiasing...I never thought to do that.  GODANGIT.  :yell:

I just learned that his name is his dad's name backwards. But in jap it's aRucard? So DracuRa?  Nevermind.

I drew the face onto the hat but I drew it too big so I scaled it and then it god frikin aliased... -_-'  So it kind of looks unbalanced now that the hat is cool hardlined and the face is gross aliased.

lol no neck on purpose.  and he was very difficult to work with. that hat is actually messed up and it throws the whole pic off.  The brim is too "tall" as far as 2 dimensions go, so I can't put it on his head without his eyes being covered. or i would have to make the hat 'hover' O_o
