Background + Story
Picture a beautiful world.
A world eternally in peace.
A world where people never learnt what "war" meant.
Picture this reality.
And now picture the world that lies behind reality.
Picture the other side.
Three immortals, constantly in a desperate fight for power.
Erigos, Tansorat and Bratuna.
Too evil to be gods.
Too high to be demons.
There is no term for these creatures.
All three wish to be oppresive rulers of the world.
Ironically, it is their equal battle that keeps the balance.
If one were to stop, or to grow stronger, the force would be swayed.
But each is as determined and as powerful as the other two.
It is this balance that keeps the peace.
At least... for a while.
The game revolves around a world ruled by the mentioned "almost-gods" that are in eternal struggle.
However, there are some that wish to disturb the balance.
A madman named Damien is out to give his master ultimate power. Whispered in his ear are the false promises of power that have driven him off the brink of insanity.
He has gathered a cult that will do what it takes to end the battle of the immortals, in their masters favour.
You are the last hero. You're only guide is the mysterious "Saul", a powerful man who seems to have some prior connection with Damiel.
He tells you that your last chance is to find the three essences of Erigos, Tansorat and Bratuna and take them to the Dark Tower. There they will be imprisoned and the immortals' power sources would be destroyed.
Saul says that, most importantly, the essences could not fall into Damiens hands. If that were to happen, Damien would be able to give his master full power...
Game
Obviously, the idea of the game is to save the world from Damien and keep the balance, but it is more than that.
Some of the features include:
- The choice of 6 main characters to save the game with. (SD3 styl-ee)
- Buying your own ship and hiring crew.
- Winning tournaments in an arena
- Day+Night+Week system
- Pond spirits (You'll know when you know)
- Cartography!!
- Aliens!! (Seriously)
- Giving islands names!
The game is in early stages, and I am lazy. A demo might not be seen for a while, because I never make my games in order. Sometimes I make the last level first.
But hey, lets see what you all came here for! Screens!!
(Note: My comp being the physical embodiment of an evil arse spirit, alot of my best maps are gone and you're stuck with crappy screens)

sweet storyline. i also think the graphics r pretty well. id like 2 help if u need some. but i am also working on my game 2 so i wont be that big of a help...
-
Damn, good looking screens you got there, some of them is a little empty but stilll good. ;)
BTW, where did you get the inner and outside ship chipset?
-
i don't know much about boats but isn't the one steering usely on the back of the ship
Edit: Grammar
-
Usually, though there is no real technical reason it cannot be on the front. Different world, different construction.
Cool story. Sounds sufficiently epic. I wish Awaldock... err... Marcus luck on his journey! ;)
-
Good luck for the project! ;)
*must support people who actually make RPG“s!*
EDIT: Cool name for your main character! My real name is actually Marc, so... :D
-
Sweet.
I like the story line too.
By the way cool main charecter. I used him once!
-
Thanks!
However, the "knight" guy is just ONE of the six people you can choose for your main character (You can get all of them if you play good) , Marcus is only his default name, I got the ship chips from "First Seed Material", the REFMAP site, and the steering is on the front because I want it to be and you can't stop me.

Gods can be evil.. I just don't now how to make them evil for a good reason..
-
Well it depends on how your universe of gods is made. If you have one god, who as very allmighty... then i don't think its a good idea! :]]
But if you are having several gods, which each stands for something, its pretty easy. For example, gods of tyranni, death, slaughter and stuff like that, mostly turns out evil.
Lol, maybe i should write a tut about making up gods! :D
-
This is your first glimpse at Damien. And yes I know I'm using RTP, just try and stop me.
'Bout that Evil thing... Well, I kinda meant evil as in uncaring. Gods should be caring for their world.
-
OH... Uncaring.. That explains all.. :D

Ok, I'll be sure to give you it first when it's done.
You're very persuasive.
