Okay here is my idea I have been working on a game called Silent Destiny.
The following is a brief look at what I have so far. Feel free to help out were ever you think it is needed.
Time setting: Now
Place: a world called Erutan
Plot :It is about a time when a war between the Humans and the Linxs (Linxs are a species of cat like hunters, but the only take on a cat like form in battle)
Protagonist, a.k.a. heros:
A young warrior for hire named Mareik who no memory’s of his past.
A young girl named Rose who dreams of seeing the world her people hide from for so long.
A class A Magick Knight named Rock who has traveled the temple of Erutan seeking the counsel of the gods.
A censure of sorts named Jane seeks trills around ever corner
A traveling warrior named Ace who’s heart is a pure as her temper is short.
Antagonist , a.k.a. Villains:
A evil sprit named fear who only seeks power and discord
The God of pain a suffering Cacus “ nothing more will be said about him“
The Leader of the linxs named Ordog. He turned his people against the humans in order to satisfy the will
of his god .
A bio mekka soldier named setsuna she is the leader of the B.M. unit and a mindless slave to Ordog.
Gods not listed
Laka goddess of song and dance.
Volcano god of rebirth
Leviathan God of the sea
Ramah God of the storm
Ifrit god of fire
Marduk God of Judgment
Diablos god of blood
Carbuncle god of reflection
Shiva goddess of destructions

Sounds interesting...
Quite witty too with the Linx race of cat-like people...
This could be quite good...

I find it dire how the linx only turn into cats during battle. A lack of charsets, I presume?

yes and no to the chara sets I wanted them to only have small things like claws and fangs in battle yet still remain human so to speak. The rest like ears and tails would be in and out of battle. The whole change would be kind of like how vampers only have fangs when tey are ready to kill feed whatever. Then again I did say I may need some help. I've never done this type of thing before and I have no clues as to what is a good or bad when it come to makeing an rpg story for others to play. all i know is what I like, but it is a work in progress.

I like the idea of the Fear spirit, and the various gods/godesses. I'm looking forward to it.

I have something new tell me if you like it. I was not so sure as to what I should put in the begging of my game so I made 6 scenes for the intro that will effect your states. Kind of a basic training. They are timed and you only get one shot and after they are done you take a test which will be you first battle of the game. This is still just an idea so let me know if I should change anything or even keep it.

His name Rock sounds fairly stupid. Nothing against u but the name sounds like it is suited for a stupid person. He should have a different name. Just my suggestion. If so maybe something like Zadir

Morgio
They are some ideas I got from the top of my head. Use the suggestion if ya want. Doesn't bother me.

Hay if anyone can I need help putting the story together. you see I have a lot of ideas and I kind of now how I want the story to go, but I have naver been a great writer.

update I have add two more chara shahara an assassin whos skills are only rivaled by her looks and alya the goddess of life. and before I forget mareik is a hlf breed but no one can tell untill latter on in te game and ace is a full blood but she is siding with the humans after an ordel with ordog.
also I think I will change rocks name to Morgio. thanks Weregnome any help i can get is better then no help.

I would have to agree on this one, sorry Serano65, but the name Rock...Too plain I tell ya...Needs some lift to it, little more spice.
*Rule breaker*: Nice battle scene there...I like it...
Humm seems like an interesting story...and you made a goof, you should never tell you game players any secrets about your game...ok so the half breed issue...It is kewl and all, but now it wont be a suprise, now everyone will be looking for him to reveal it to the party...
*Rule of Game making*: Never spoil a game that hasnt been made yet...or played yet...Swoosh...
*dunn dun dunn*: Now are they cats in battle..or human in battle? Please be sure to clearify sous idiots like me understand..lol...So half man half cat in battle?

Ok I am done with my critic..hope not harsh...I am a pro game critic, a perfectionist..I state my opinion yes true...but only on ideas...for real games like ff series...I critc graphical errors, improper grammer..stuff like that..xenogears made fei's chara talk, but had this name as maria...*tisk tisk*Secret of Mana 2 dont fall into holes and use escape rope or you have to start over...
*You want help I will help you to get your ideas into a storyline...I love story writing...Just contact me in pm..I be glad to help and even give you some ideas and scripting advise.*

thanks for the info, and I don't want praise but it was funny. i just need to know what I am doing wrong so I will have to change a few things around thanks to my giving away of the plot behind my guy. thier is still much more to learn about the young fighter and the half breed thing come in fairly quickly but thats more him talking to you the player. when I get more done you'll see what I mean. thanks Arcanagirl your a lifesaver.

Well...I cant just let you throw spoilers everywhere now can I...If you asked anyone what my game was about..they be...girl named lilly guy names camui..blah blah...I gave no character insight or anytype of plot what so ever...rofl keeps them guessing...Ok say you post another reply listing your games charas...Try this on, list their names, ages, attributes if any, favorite stuff/weapons/clothes/colors, list a brief, very brief persona...what kind of person they are..rude, kind, friendly, agressive, idiot..lol, simple, make listing ideas simple, simple means less knowledge is gained, it gives people an idea, just an idea...That makes them want to play even more then ever...A game I bought while back, the reviews on it before it was released was short...showed 1 or 2 screenshots, showed 4 charas with a small info thingy, then talked a bit about the release date and how it was rated....and I was like gimmi gimmi gimmi..then I played it and everything as like...wha?! no way!? holy %^&*!!!They never mentioned this...
This makes the game a huge wow...People will have lots more fun...atleast for me anyhow...I like to keep my people guessing!!! :smoke:

I think I am almost done with the demo I just have to work a little on mosters"but thats never been my strong point. I just put a few small things in like about seven places you will go in the game and I am working on a few bosses. I have many things left to work on but helping other a bit has helped me a lot. if you have any tips seeing this is my first game and all plz let me know.
