Here is my first attempt of shading a large object. It is the Dragon I will use in my RPG, 'Dragon Twilight'. I made it all from scratch, using the colour shades on the Dragon monster set beside it. It's not fully finished yet however, as I need to do it's tail, add more shading to it's body and complete it's head.
Tell me what you think of it!
-
It's better but still, in comparison, the original is by far superior. No offense.
-
Well, like I said before, it's my first attempt so I was expecting at least one bad comment. Thanks for saying anyway, Darkfox!
-
Wow, it's really good!
-
i like it I may ask if you could help me make a few of the monster for my game
-
Well, I could try but I'm too caught up with my RPG. Just tell me what you need and I'll see what I can do...
Just understand that you'll probably recieve them after a long wait....
-
The head needs work and there should be more antialiasing(instead of hard lines you have a bit of a fade to improve the quality look of the picture) but otherwise it is very nice! Moose approves.

Yeah, thanks for the advice...
Like I said before, it needs some work....
-
I'll post the finil draft product when it's done....
-
I've just finished the dragon that I posted earlier in thsi topic. I tried my best at it. Tell me what you think of it, and if anything needs improving, just say, I don't mind improving it!
Here it is!
-
good job man
-
Thanks Serano65!
Anything you think needs improving?
BTW: I'll probably try and start the monster set you asked me to do later.
-
Good. The shading has really improved.
As something to work on, you might want to shade the top line of the wing a bit more thoughly. Adding a band or two of dark pixels would help the line quite a bit.
-
Wow, that's a pretty big improvement!
But you should draw that fluffy thingy at the end of its tail.
-
i had a dog like that once :)

I was thinking of trying the tail thing but it's too hard but I'm workin' on it...
-

How does it look fluffy anyway?
-
I decided not to do the fluffy/spikey thing on the end of it's tail...
It's far beyond my capability...
I'm happy with it now. I'd better try and put it in charset form so it actually goes onto my game without any screw ups....
-
it's still good but from the loos of it if you wanted to do it you could just cut flip and paste then you would be done.
-
Well, I would have never thought of that....
-
That looks just like the front of that dragon! good job
EDIT: one question... where's the horn?

-
