Title: Kitsune Saga: Kiki Story
Post by: Darkfox on September 27, 2004, 06:14:47 PM: You guys probly remember me making a game called "Kiki Kitsune" right? Well I changed it to Kitsune Saga: Kiki Story. Since Kitsune Saga is the series. It's still a platformer type, but it'll now have a better storyline. The timeline is set up in the future, you'll end up facing all manners of man, machine, and beasts.

Kiki is level-headed yet young and at times a tad goofy, she's not exactly the bravest but her determination usually ends up overwhelming her fears. Being a kitsune she has mystical powers that will allow her to heal herself and also use energy attacks. She is agile and can perform moves that would normally seem impossible, like a full backwards flip kick or roll up into a ball and hurl herself.

The story so far is about her living an ok life in a forest far from humans and other such threats other than the natural dangers, the introductory act will be just a food gathering type that will also introduce Kiki's rival Nightshade who is a Shadowfox, a kitsune who's turned to a life of shadows.

Thats what I've got so far. Monster graphics and such are still in development.

Post by: Darkfox on September 29, 2004, 07:17:18 PM: Allright, done. As to add more to the story this is to introduce Kiki and her rival Nightshade. The first act will be learning how to get food which is essential for health replenishment and certain items will replenish MP. There will be easy battles and an easy boss. This will most likely be the demo.

Post by: Darkfox on February 16, 2005, 03:41:26 PM: Update: No I have not given up on this game, and I'm actually doing voices for Kiki which are suprisingly sounding good, ask Ace of Spades if you don't believe me XD, it freaked him out that I could sound like that, of course I also sped it up by 20%.

I plan to redo some graphics and add in a sprite for Kenneth and a few bosses. First boss I plan to be a wolf.

Post by: Darkfox on February 16, 2005, 06:22:00 PM: My sentimements exactly. Also this is to use a different kind of heroin rather than the becoming cliche girl in a weird outfit (Catwoman and Elrectra as examples), plus Kiki does not even have an outfit for weirdness, XD.

I'm a man of many talents. It kinda hurts but I can imitate a youngish female voice, I'm going for that anime-girl voice like Felicia.
