Title: My first creation

This is a start for me. If anyone has any good pointers to help me out please share.

Ya. Im new to this so im not familiar with anything. I really need someone to just lead the basics on this. Cause i dont know how to make my own stelts or anythng. My firned told me about this site yesterday. I dont know any programs needed for anything. hahaha. So if someone can please tell me what to do and if anyone has any programs/links for importatns things please post them. :w00t:

please read. also, all that i did to learn to make stuff was look at RTPs and some really good spriters work, like ghostclown for character sets, and Saikar or wishkamon for battle character sets just to name a few, there are tons of other good people

First off. You shoukd try scratch, I really don't have too much pointers. Just get a template and use paint.

What do you mean. Do you mean get a template form the generater and then paint over it. Dont forget...im new and im lost. hahaha.

Not exactly. In the complete resources. Search up "template" and then you should get a character set template. Then just start painting like a wild man on crack.

Ok i went to the place youtold me to go to. But i didnt find a thing that said templates. I only saw the things that people did. thats its.

ok, go there and do a search for "template" and it will be in character sets

Ok i found the template things. But they are all ready done over. oh my god im so lost. Wouldnt there be just a plain chara set and battle set for a charecters looks.

Alright. Now when i want to download the template it wont let me. It brings me to a internet window with a seperate picture of the template. If i copy/paste it to paint i will be painting over everything. (at the template section of charasets, the first one shows a green person and then plane naked white guy) HELP

Ya i no. I just dont know how to start making the bodies. I see so many people make such good ones that they look like they were from the generators.

Not hard. Just look closely at the generators for your first few, and you'll have the hang of it in no time.

Yeah, I think thats how I started too, and look at me. I made a charaset for a persons costume from Tales of symphonia.Looked awesome too. :]]
