First off I decided to make a game in rpg 2003 since rmxp not many people have but i'm still working on the xp game just not as much, this games timeline is kind of before that game happens. What I considered to be two important things in my games are the romance between the main male and main female,I decided to make this one more romantic between the two characters than I have in my xp game so far which is why i used "Fate Of Awakening Love" in the title.I'll have some screens up soon i'm still editing my Characters to match there Battle Charsets. The plot is also completely diffrent and so are the charcaters.

Yeah, I would agree with you to use RPG Maker 2003. I don't even have RPG Maker XP yet. Just a bit of advice for ya, if you want this to be good, do a lot of brainstorming on this love story, plan ahead instead of thinking as you go. Trust me, it helps.

First off i'm still making the xp game second off I've already had this story planned out for like two years i never really make things go up as i go.Oh but thanks for you idea anyway.

Well it takes a long time to make a game, so by the time you would finish it, almost everyone would have rmxp, but then again at the moment there are bearly any gfx made for it, so your stuck with the rtp unless your really good at making gfx. Anyway rm2k3 would probably be better for this I'm guessing.
Having a story were two people love each other is one thing, being able to present it through gameplay that emphisises the love and yet is not too mushy all the way around is another. So I'll be interested on how this turns out.
Anyway Good Luck!

Like I said i'm not quiting my rmxp game i'm just working on the rm2k3 one more and i can edit the rtps set in xp and thats about all,and about the love part what can i say?I'm a true Romantic but it won't really be mushy.I can't stand it one things are like that.
The Main Reason for making two games is I also want to tell two stories and I can't do that with just one game.

those are some sweet lookin' battle charas!
-
Last screen for now.

Screens look good, I like the battle chars. You should try the font fix tutorial I made, cuz it looks like your font is mushed together.
-
I know i'm gonna fix the font but i'm gonna do it last.
-
or you could just download the font fix package here:
Font Fix (http://www.mmol.com/jake/font_fix.zip)
Then just copy the files into your fonts folder.
-
Well, you know it's only for your benefit. Just because you fix the font on your system, doesn't mean it'll be like that for someone who plays the game on theirs. If their system doesn't recognize the font, it'll be the same. That's why the font is messed up, because your system (by system I mean your computer, not rm2k3) doesn't recognize the fonts that are defaults with rm2k3. In other words, they need to be installed. I just fixed it right away, because it helps with reading event editing too.
Edit: Rhonin, you have to be careful with those font fix packages. I don't know about that one, but there have been some cases where the font fix patch caused loss of data in the game. Don't ask how. I think my way is easier, but sadly, I think it only works if you have windows xp. Anything lower and you're pretty much screwed.
