Thanksgiving, unlike Christmas, is not a commercially corrupted holiday. It is a time to look back and be thankful for what you have, not look forward and cry for what you want. One of the best holidays of the year.
Even if you are not a citizen of the US, at least try to show some respect for the concept.

Because this was the day many years ago that the evil turkey warlords tried to take over the world. Finally the enslaved humans managed to burn his stronghold and afterwards feasted on their cooked carcasses, and it was delicious with a side of cranberry sauce. It also so happened that he was having a meeting with the cranberry sauce emperor and King Porkius whom were also consumed!
And now since they are now we eat them to keep their numbers down so they can never enslave us again!
