Title: black lines & background color

Whenever I create a charaset and save it png. format, when i use it in my games, you can see the background color and a black line either side of the charset!!
Please help!

Edit an existing char and use THAT background colour. That's what I do. Just erase the existing one and draw your own.

When you IMPORT it into RPG Maker, click the background and ensure that it's flashing. Also, make sure that the background is one solid color, no little variations or anything of the like.
